There is a large life-size Muttaburrasaurus on display. Stop over at the pub for a cold drink too! Plenty of camping options in town, including free camps.

Great display with some interesting facts and figures. Awesome building, open 24 hours so you can call past in the evening if you choose. Great to see a display of this quality free for all to visit. Muttaburra is great little town doing all it can to keep a steady flow of visitors. Keep at it!

This might not be the center of the universe but it is the center of Queensland.The town of Muttaburra has a lot to offer. Stay for a few days and take a relaxing look at the museums and culture.

Great centre, well designed out of local rocks, very informative displays. Some great talent in the outside artwork with sandstone carving.

Visually striking display of the locally discovered dinasaur in a fairly unique facility which features a geologic time line.The garden area has a great ambience.Admission is free!Not much by way of information, but those with Telstra mobile can access it via internet.Check the outdoor bath at the neighbouring accommodation.

The Centre of Queensland! We came out to see the Interpretation Centre and were positively amazed by the amount of rock collected to form this dinosaur display. So quiet to just wander around and enjoy the moment and appreciate the effort that went into building this, especially when times have been so tough in the bush.We were lucky to 'tag along' on a tour of the historic grocery store, just a short one as like everywhere there is a shortage of staff and volunteers, but we appreciated the lady who didn't disappoint the 12 or so visitors as she filled in when the regular person was ill. Thank you.We are already planning a return visit now we know where to go and where to avoid!

Unique building and very interesting display without being boring.It is open 24/7. No souvenir shop though.
