The lounge smells of VOC's which takes a month almost to completely offgas. Terrible.

I will never buy from Nick Scali again. The after sales customer service is absolutely appalling. I was told that my lounge would arrive between 16 to 18 weeks from time of order. My lounge is now 2 months overdue and I have had the delivery appointment scheduled and then re-scheduled after I had made arrangements to be there for the delivery as I was told if I did not accept delivery on that day then I wouldn't receive the lounge for another 4 weeks. I was assured call backs regarding the re-schedule which never happened and you can't even contact the store direct for assistance. Another example of overseas call centre completely out of touch which reality. The excuses and the lies is unbelievable. Three days notice for delivery may be OK for some but some people need more notice to arrange time off.

We were told by the salesperson that the product we wanted to buy was able to be moved around in sections and make different shapes and because of that reason we trusted to your salesperson and purchased that sofa. Once we received the product after waiting long time it wasn’t possible to be moved around make different shapes just like the salesman had told us. We tried to exchange but store manager at Penrith said it’s not possible even though it’s not our fault at all because we just trusted to your salesperson. That’s not fair at all. This is the first time I bought from Nick Scali but it’s very bad experience and not happy at all therefore I would not recommend to anyone else purchasing from Nick Scali.

Prices were competitive with other retailers in the area and the showroom is beautiful. The ability to modify suites for the correct solution was on par with local competitors however the warranty and after sale care was not as good as other competitors, specifically Plush.The disappointing part was the staff, there were 3 staff members in the store and 3 customers in the store, however as customers left and new ones entered we were not approached at all - I needed to approach the staff, the only difference was that we had two children under 4 with us and whilst they were getting impatient and wanted to play we ensured that they did not climb or play on the products.We would have been the easiest sale that day but in the end went back to plush and spoke to the team there.The lead time for sofa purchases through Nick Scali was 2 weeks shorter than Plush. Nick Scali were better than Harvey Norman but probably not as good as Domayne.

We purchased this lounge in this color. We had to wait 5 months for it but we are very happy with our purchase. We had great service from the man in the Penrith shop and when I called to follow up on dates etc, I always had great service.

Just came out of here after buying a chair off Brian. What a lovely guy, he went out of his way to help us at closing time - for a relatively small purchase. The young bloke there was also very nice. Rare to encounter such service nowadays. So good.

Ordered multiple items from this store and they were very friendly, but they let me down on the delivery. I followed up with a phone call to confirm and the sales lady forgot to book in the delivery. Being made out that it’s my fault because the written down “booked delivery date” isn’t actually the delivery date is very disappointing (keeping in mind they didn’t actually book the delivery). Even though they rang me the other day to confirm the items.

The store manager Vik Ram is more busy with chewing his chicle with wide open mount and both hands in pocket, than helping costumer. Just Unethical.

I bought three of the lounges from Nick scali Penrith. Two of them made with leather. After a long wait of delivery, we came to know that all seats are not joined with the back and when we sit, they just moving around. I went back to the store and manager was so rude and said that’s not our responsibility and we don’t accept it etc. he had no manners to even talk. Lady Hanna is polite but she is not the manager. Manager also said that I know better than her. The way he talked was unacceptable and I’ll definitely report this matter to fairwork or any other authority.
