I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to stay here. PeriodI called up earlier to advise that I'll be arriving just after 8 pm. as I had an 8 hours drive into Brisbane. The man on the other side of the phone was very rude and condescending. I made a few suggestions on how to go about the late check-in with less luck. I travel a lot, and I can only recall a couple of times that I've personally met a check-in clerk, why this was so difficult, I don't understand.Anyway, judging by that phone conversation, I offered to withdraw my booking at the end of the phone call as I couldn't picture myself supporting someone who made me feel like a burden to their business. I was more than happy to pay more at a separate establishment for better service.

I was yelled at multiple times over thephone by who I later found out was theowner after requesting a late check-in. I booked through a third-party booking site where this accommodation hadthis as an option which is why I pickedit. Due to the aggressive tone and way Iwas spoken to I decided I would ratherlose my booking fee then stay at thisplace as I felt uncomfortable and unsafe!

Great place to overnight and an easy walk to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for a cold and great meal. Comfortable rooms and great location.

Horrible customer service received when I called to advise that I would be checking in at 9:30pm. The email I received from a third party booking site instructed to call if I was arriving past 10pm however I wanted to confirm that everything was fine before my stay. The rudest man I have ever spoken to answered, who I later found out was the owner. He verbally abused me on the phone multiple times. The abuse was so bad I chose to not go there for my own safety as I believe that it would have been so much worse in person. I asked him on the phone for a refund and advised me to contact the third party booking site as it is not up to him. They sent though a cancellation/refund request that he denied even tho he told me to do it, I called back to ask why and was met with more verbal abuse. I would recommend steering clear of this place as it will ruin your holiday as it did mine!!

Reasonably priced, great showers. Broken curtains let all the light in, would have asked about this but not really an issue that the guest should need to ask about...Sink in room was a nice touch.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I would not recommend staying here. Had multiple interactions with the owner who was extremely rude & made me feel so uncomfortable to the point where I cancelled my booking & chose to stay elsewhere. Not accommodating whatsoever. One star is being generous.

This hotel does not claim to be any more than an inexpensive, no bling stay for a realistic price.Like Coles cafeteria is to the restaurant industry, is the way to look at it

After staying in a different lovely hotel this was the only one with rooms available nearby and yes common showers and toilets look clean as well as the beds and I’m not even complaining about the fact that the room looks like in a hospital, but upon coming back in the evening i see cockroaches everywhere even as I’m writing this I have company and I am sitting here freaking out because there is something crawling on my pillow right this moment there is no way my head is lying down on it nor my clean body will touch that bed. Personnel was a bit scary, but funny. No common soap, just in rooms. My towel had a massive stain it smelled clean, but I couldn’t bring myself to use it. I am praying nothing crawls in my luggage or underneath my clothes while I’m trying to sleep. Need to check everything in my bags for roaches now and waste my daily time in the morning. Unbelievable.

The staff were lovely this review isnt anything bad about them and it is what you expect for a cheap inn.DO NOT BRING BAGS OR LUGGAGE IN TILL YOU HAVE INSPECTED.However we found bedbugs in our room and some hitched a ride in our luggage and we have been dealing with them ever since and has cost us a fortune to get rid of them including replacing furniture, bedding and electrical. Check all corners and skirtings of the room, check the bed all over for brown spots and bedbugs, peel off the sheets look in stitching of the matress, check inside cupboard and check pillows over for any brown spots. Push the bed aside and inspect the floor.
