La Diva Beauty & Nails - Ascot

I'm not one to leave a bad review, this is my first, and while I can handle and shrug off bad service or a bad job, I can't handle dishonesty and being ripped off.After collecting a menu a few weeks ago, I decided to get my nails done. I was after a full set of acrylics which were advertised for $45 and pointed at what I wanted on the menu. They asked me if I wanted shellac for extra and I said no, I have a budget I would like to stick to and will just have the regular polish. After they had buffed and started glueing on the nails, they proceeded to tell me it was $55. I had the menu next to me and showed them it was $45 and they said it had gone up but they haven't got new menus done yet but said it was an extra $10 for colour. I looked and asked them where the sign was to inform customers of the price increase? They couldn't show me or show me any proof it had gone up.I told them they should have informed me BEFORE they started the service not after they started. They let me walk out with unfinished nails. They said they are just following their bosses orders. As a small business owner myself in the beauty industry, I am aware what they have done is not within regulations of consumer laws.I feel incredibly disappointed and decieved. I wish I took my business elsewhere.

This is the worst nail salon I have been to. I have been there a few times now as I am new to the area and haven't seen anywhere else. The girls there are SO rude. Solemn and surly. They never smile, no warmth. Snappy, rude, angry. The salon was quiet plenty of spare chairs. When my nails were finished and she wanted me to move to the drying area, I asked if I could just finish watching the rest of the song playing on the video (no one waiting for a chair) She said no and I said It would just be a minute and she said no again very rudely and literally threw my phone and purse down and stormed away.Seems silly but just so incredibly rude I will never go there again.And Manicures are supposed to be nice? This girls was rushing so much just trying to get through the job as fast as she could go. I was so scared she would cut me as she was going so fast. Awful, awful experience.I had to click one star to post but it should be no stars

First and last time coming here. Looked good from the outside but would never return. The lady who did my nails was frowning and sighing the entire time and did not acknowledge me in any way. She roughly pulled on my limbs and fingers/toes, buffed my nails too thinly, and cut my skin multiple times when working on the cuticles. I thought maybe she was having a bad day so when she finished I said thank you with a smile but she just turned around and left while muttering something under her breath. The end result was also poor, the gel polish was all painted outside the nails and stuck to my skin, and everything peeled off within 2 days. Very disappointing.

I have never written a bad review on anyone but the manager of this store has a lot to answer for. The staff member was very embarrassed to charge me double for what was quoted for one chipped nail that was done there a week ago. The manager was at the counter when I paid but couldn’t even look at me when I queried the price to her. Obviously wasn’t expecting to be challenged. I could see her staff member was uncomfortable about what she was being told to charge so I let it go but time to fine another nail salon that has little bit more integrity and honesty on what they charge.

Never coming back to this place ever again! My friend and I understood that we were 15 minutes late for our appointment, we apologised but they were not welcoming at all! They told us we wouldn’t be able to get our full service today - both manicure and pedicure which we booked in for that day and were so rude while saying it. It wasn’t a fun experience either as it was painful while she was doing it and rushed throughout the entire service. My manicure was done within 15 minutes! While waiting for our nail polish to dry up they literally told us that “you can leave”! Being efficient alone will not get you anywhere, please try creating a more comfortable environment for your customers. That will be much appreciated. Thanks

I got a fungal infection under several acrylics as they started to lift. They said it was my fault because acrylics need to be completely removed every few months, I had been going to them exclusively for months & not once did they advise this until after it was too late.They took them off & applied Gel, the gel didn't last an hour before it was peeling because they didn't let it cure under the uv long enough. The gel was wet underneath causing bubbling & smears of colour when the top layer peeled off.

You can check my other reviews, I mostly only give 5 star reviews. But this place is just horrible, rude, time wasters. Worst nail salon ever. It was my first time coming to this place, the woman just pointed me to sit not asking if there is anything I’m after. I waited for ages until one of them came that was the only time I showed her the glitter colour I have on photos and asked her if they would have it. She insisted I take the silver, over and over again, clearly very far from the colour I’m showing. She just pointed the silver sample then left. There were 2 other girl staff doing nothing sitting at the other table. Just didn’t care. Horrible waste of time.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, my friend got her nails there and the way she was treated her was very nasty. I highly recommend getting some customer service training with your staff. I do not like how you speak to your customers and making the place not welcoming at all for them. If you want to keep loyal customers then you need to seriously think about leading your staff better.

The girls are very welcoming and the service very professional. The owner Maria goes out of her way to make sure youre happy. The only reason i give 4 stars and not 5 is because i wish they could do more creative design. But everything that they do, they do well. Highly recommend.

I was up from Sydney and staying in Ascot and looking for a nail salon near me for a pedicure. I read the reviews and was a little worried but went anyway and was very happy with my visit. I think it was one of the best pedicures I have had, very professional.
