Stunning location!The drive in was a bit of a maze, but it was well signed to the car park (and that is in front of the very impressive stage for 'A Day on The Green' concerts.The restaurant is huge! Large open areas and HUGE windows with beautiful views make for a wonderful dining experience.We loved the open kitchen area - this is great for the kitchen staff to be able to look out at their patrons, and to see the outside world while they're working.The staff were fantastic! With the huge crowd there, they were still very attentive to our small table mixed in with the hustle and bustle.We ordered pizza. They were fantastic! But, they lacked some fresh herb toppings that would have added some extra flavour, apart from that they were spot on.Desert was simple gelato. It was delicious, but should have been served correctly in a dining area - the take away cups and an icecream wooden stick to use was a let down.Over all - we loved our meal and experience here. I think extra attention needs to be paid to outdoor areas on cooler days... staff, and outdoor patrons leave the awkward sliding door open all the time - leaving indoor patrons freezing!

Visited tonight for a special musical event. Venue, staff, parking and food were all great and so was the entertainment. Highly recommend these Rochford Concert events.

Very good pasta. Pizza is good. Authentic Italian feeling with views onto a lake. Not in top tier Italian but very good.

Charming location, beautiful view and a lovely big open space. The pizzas are between 20 - 30 each.Lovely for a lunch - on the day we came there was a bit of a delay in our food but they were very reasonable about itOverall nice for a lunch out with the family especially during the day.

Nice little place next to a small lake. Great wood fire pizza. Abit hard to find as the main entrance is shared. Otherwise ample parking and space for helicopters. Huge ceiling fan. Worth a visit.

We won't be back... disappointed & here's why:1. Firstly we rang to check if they would accept us attending with a dog, a lady was very polite but failed to pass on the message and actually record the request in the booking system.2. When we got there, they had no record of us asking for a booking outside. Front desk manager - Chris, proceeded to huff and puff and eventually cleaned up a table outside. It was so LOUD and filled with people who were smoking on the terrace!3. Service was so inconsistent , we had 3 people attend to us - first one was super eager to take the order, the other 2 didn't care less.4. We waited over 60mins for our all of our food to come out.5. I accidentally knocked over and spilt my drink , and when I alerted the waitress to it to make sure no one slipped and fell, she told me Well I can't dry it off" but failed to ask me if I wanted another. **MISSED REVENUE**6. And finally when we finished our lunch a young waitress cleared our tables but again failed to ask if we wanted anything else. **MISSED REVENUE**.."
