First off, I'm not a customer, I'm a home owner that had the unfortunate luck to have this group develop next door to my property.Basically, they've built on my property and even removed the boundary markers I had in place when I purchased my home.Sure enough, they dug out retaining walls which come into my property and even erected several wooden fences that come into my block.I called the project manager Wayne Fox, and after answering my call with yo" he didn't seem either surprised

Terrible experience and I’m not even a customer - just unfortunate enough to live next door to a development. Property adjoining my house had land built up another 1200 (approx) which then required a retaining wall. Retaining wall constructed with posts on my property (couldn’t even level the concrete off at the base of the posts), huge gaps at the bottom of the wall, big enough that the draining hose has fallen out onto my property, with the end of the hose deliberately placed to extrude into my back yard. Then it rained and I’ve got run off from under the wall. Repeated attempts to liaise with the site supervisor Wayne Fox went nowhere - he couldn’t be bothered to look at the wall or respond to further calls or texts. Expecting Homecorp to hand it over to the poor purchaser and myself to resolve. Update 8pm 24 November: I’m not sure whom Homecorp have been in discussions with but it wasn’t me. One email response from the building manager on 20 September, who disregarded all concerns isn’t a discussion. I have had discussions with QBCC and local Council (Council confirmed the current height of the wall requires certification and is considered unlikely to pass given the agg pipe issue). Hah! Discussions?!?30 May 2023: just another update for those who are interested. The retaining wall isn't fairing well at all. Splits in posts and boards (some boards seem to be rotting). QBCC have recently attended site and the officer was fantastic (straightforward and knew his stuff). Highly recommend. Homecorp are to make rectifications - which they tell me will start 1 June. BUT so far my request for details of the work to happen haven't gotten a response. (You'd think that providing a me a copy of the instructions given to the landscaper wouldn't be that hard. I'm more worried that their instructions will match September advice given to me Nothing a bit of soil and turf won't fix"!??!). As a side note

Currently building with Homecorp signed our contract in December 2020 - built start in June 2021 and after 2 extension of practical completion we were inform that they can't give us an approximate of practical completion- it has take over 35 weeks to built a 27 square meter single story house and still not completed. When the construction will reach practical completion ?? will try and source a date for you as soon as practically possible"Sales team Jim from Yarrabilba are very helpful and knowledgeable- presite admin Vicki was terrible loosing our variation documents and request so I had to chase national tiles and the stratus electrical for our tiles and electrical selection.Candice from Colour was knowledgeable and helpful and our current administration officer Kiana is helpful and response in reasonable time even tho she's overworked.Furthermore

Poor communication, poor workman ship on overall build. 1 year and half later and still following up on items on hand over that still haven’t been attended too. Numerous emails and phone calls not responded too. As soon as the 1 year warranty came it’s like they dusted there hands and haven’t made an effort to fix the absolute mess they left us with for our first home. They are building all these homes and haven’t hired more customer service in their warranty department?! Ridiculous.Do. Not. Build. With. Home. Corp.

We are very grateful to the excellent team at HomeCorp that made the experience of building our home very easy.We had an amazing pre site manager, building support coordinator and a fantastic site supervisor! The lines of communication were great and everyone kept us in the loop and were available if I had any questions.During the build process our site supervisor made regular contact and happily answered any questions we had. Thank you again to all the people that helped made this process so easy.

Hands down has been an absolute nightmare to build with this company. We are now 2 years in and just about a year out of our original contract and still aren't in our home.Communication has been one of the biggest downfalls of the whole experience. From being told that our house is on track and to reach practical completion over 8 times last year and zero email or written communication for months . I have had to call and call to follow up only to be told the same thing over and over, they have actually directly lied on many occasions! We are now in the New Year with an apparent practical completion for the 24th, we are a week out and have heard absolutely nothing and like every other time an excuse will probably pop up. Even more disappointing to see the other houses in the street finished with people moved in.If I had my time over I would NEVER choose this company to build with. This only touches the tip of my experience. Very disappointing.

I am glad I waited to put this review. If I had acted on my emotion8 months ago, it would have been a 1 star. Like most people, I had my challenges. My site supervisor was lazy and lacked attention to detail. I was 6 months over the contract period. But once I reached the right person in the company and escalated the right way, it was attended to and all completed very quickly. I however would like to make a point that we shouldn’t have to escalate to get things done but in my case it was one bad Apple. New construction manager allocated was complete opposite. I am probably one of the lucky ones and I am glad my feedback was taken seriously. It’s been 6 months I have moved in and no major issues so far. I had few minor issues with garage door, light switch, room door locks etc but they were all attended to within the same week of reporting it. So my warranty claims so far is going well. Their electronic supplier/manufacturer is however another story - they hardly respond to warranty claims. Thanks Team Homecorp. I wasn’t the easiest client and appreciate you being professional.

Warranty is only covered for 1 year even with poor workmanship or having things installed incorrectly. The builders installed the flashing on the roof incorrectly and because of this it leaked into a new house when there was strong rain. I was advised that warranty doesn't cover their poor workmanship.

I have just moved into my brand new house built by Homecorp and I am so happy, appreciative and over the moon with it. The build quality is fantastic and can’t fault it.The whole process with Homecorp has been great, very prompt with responding, answered any questions i had, kept me up to date with the build. Everything was smooth running with it all being by phone or email. The house was completed earlier than anticipated and I understood with the current climate with delays and lack of building materials and trade shortages that it was going to be a lengthy process, But for my first build I’m so happy it was with Homecorp.Ksenia my customer service officer was a pleasure to deal with, very efficient, friendly and was always happy to take my emails and calls. The site manager was also a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They didn’t bombard me with emails and information but kept me in the know when I needed to know which I found really good. Great job Homecorp Constructions.
