I have been going to La Coupe for many years now and am always happy with the service and outcome. Hubby and the kids are now also regulars.Would recommend

I went to this salon last year and loved the hair outcome I received, however I went back again this year and was really disappointed and angry with the outcome. I asked for my blonde hair to be covered in a brown hair dye without touching my roots. We came up with a plan we were both happy with. My hair was back to the original color I walked in with 2 hair washes later. Hair dye was definitely not put into my hair so i ended up paying $180 for the same hair that i already had and a few foils. I went again the next week to get it fixed, we both agreed to just do a toner as I didn't want my roots touched with dye. once back at the chair I noticed my hair especially the roots were very red and made sure to ask that it was just toner. she told me no it was dye. I did not give this hairdresser consent this time around or the okay for her to put dye in my hair. It was so patchy and all different colors, I had a huge bright orange stripe at the back of my head which could be seen when wearing my hair up. I ended up having to spend even more money to try and get it fixed elsewhere. I would not recommend this hair salon as they do not do as you ask and they lie and try to talk you out of dying your hair as they do not want to do it or correct their mistake. Hacked the front pieces of my hair, couldn't get it in alignment with the other side. I explain what i wanted from the start, simple feathering and was told by the lady working on my hair it could be done then to be told by another hairdresser it couldn't be done" with a lousy attitude and kept speaking over me trying to belittle me as i'm young. The hairdresser didn't seem confident in what they were doing so i don't understand why they continued. Left without being charged as they realised they had butchered my hair. Complete and utter waste of my time!!!"

Very poor service. Had a style done for a wedding. Half up and half down with curls. I asked the stylist if it would last til the evening as the curls didn't seem that tight and she said it would definitely last. One hour later the curls had come out and looked just like waves! It was not a humid day or a windy or rainy day. There is no reason why this should have happened besides poor styling. By the evening it honestly looked like I didn't even had my hair done. On contacting the salon they were apologetic and promised a voucher to be sent to me. However the voucher was only a 1/4 of the price I paid for the service. They refuse to respond to my emails. Many other great hair dressers in the Hills district to go to instead. I don't recommend this hair salon!

I'm new to the Hills district and been looking for a new hairstylist.Taneaka gave me the best cut I've ever had in forever! And she's incredibly fast!Beautiful boutique. Warmly greeted by staff and owner even though I'm a walk in ;) If you're in the Hills - Highly recommend. They're now my go-to!

La Coupe - lead by hair guru Charlie and his team have been our families (My mother and two sisters) best kept secret for over 20 years. They are the ultimate professionals in hair. I have long, thick hair which requires time and effort and they always do an outstanding job. I would follow La Coupe to the ends of the earth to get my hair done. I don't trust anyone else to touch my hair

I have been attending La Coupe for almost 2 decades and have never been anywhere else!Visiting the salon is like going to a friend’s place - always feel welcome, have a chat and a laugh with the team and the bonus is leaving with beautiful hair!
