Taro Taro
I really liked Taro Taro when it first started and I stayed around the corner, but it has really gone downhill. The hot food quality has significantly dropped from it's Taiwanese roots and it is now just plain (no more gravy with rice). From a price perspective, it is still very cheap! 8.9 for Fried chicken and rice... But the desserts are still ok. (Very sweet though).

One of the long-standing favourites in the area. The desserts are not too sweet which I like, and fried foods are on point. Great for an afternoon snack and after-dinner dessert.

Taro Taro! Lovely place that's been here in East Vic Park for years! Recently updated with new furniture with sturdy seats and tables.They serve specialty asian desserts, snacks and bubble tea!Savoury - We love the fried chicken bites with rice and braised pork rice.Dessert - They are all good but we love the Mango sensation with mango pudding, mango ice cream and mango shaved ice!Bubble Tea - all the usual goodies with fruit tea, milk tea, and a large selection of toppings!

After eating the signature burnt jelly grass, the overall taste is too sweet. The clerks kept getting together to play with their mobile phones, and at first they ordered one iced one and one hot one, but when it was delivered, two iced ones were delivered. After telling the clerk, the hot one came, but the taro cubes turned out to be iced.

We came here for a quick snack and we weren't disappointed.Our XXL Chicken was delicious and well cooked. So many choices of flavours to choose from. Lemon pepper and cheese are my two favourite flavours. This is my favourite savoury dish on the menu.Great variety of desserts and bubble tea. The Soy bean pudding with sweet sugar sauce was so tasty and really enjoyable.Taro milk tea was full of flavour. Delicious.Even though they busy tonight the service was very quick. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

Been here many times. It's a no frill Taiwanese restaurant where you can get food and dessert. I mainly here for the dessert. Food was mainly good as well. I got their signature cold herbal jelly dessert. I enjoyed it as always. For those who might not like sweet potato in their dessert, then you might not like this. But I love herbal jelly, taro and sweet potato!

Was reading others review and they are absolutely right. The receptionist was busy occupied with her phone at all times other than customers placing order. Food was freshly made however with I was the only customer who order hot savoury food at that time, it took them 17 minutes to deep fried 10 small chicken pieces with a small bowl of rice? Not going back for second time.

I really enjoy Taro Taro's variety in drinks, desserts along with it's food they're well priced, tasty and served very well. I recommend the Ayu with crystal pearl drink as it tastes like lemon and honey which I love. The whole atmosphere is very nice and comforting to hangout with friends and enjoy a meal. The only down side would be the customer service. The customer service wasn't very nice it could've been better if they questions asked were answered a bit more in detail rather than look at the menu"."

These are the best beef noodles soup I've tried in Perth so far.They are very tasty, affordable and the portion is just enough. I've eaten there more than six times for the past year and I just can't get enough of it. It's too good to be true!
