Jetstar

This was my first time when I chose jetstar from Adelaide, I had a filming project in Sydney this morning and they delayed flight for 2 hours and there was no reason to reach there,They gave me only one option to cancel and apply for refund or get delayed flight with $8 refreshment voucher,Well, I had to arrange someone to cover my project with high cost, even I’ll get refund but still jetstar is responsible of my loss.How come first flight of the day was delayed?Worst flight ever.

Jet star holiday package is not cheap, and read the fine prints, your accommodation booked will not be refunded if you have to cancel due to Covid!Have to fight for hours on the phone to get 2 overseas people’s flight voucher in my name, so I can use it in Australia. They cancelled their trip from Japan due to their Covid and jet star was going to issue vouchers in their name and they have to be the passengers when redeem the voucher!!! How ridiculous and illogical!!!

Check in at Hobart airport wasn’t the best experience. We did online check in and had our luggage tags printed when we arrived the airport. There was no bag drop counters and we had to queue up along with the others who hadn’t checked in. The line was also shared between multiple domestic flights that departed at similar times, slowing the check in process down.

Everyone keeps complaining about Jetstar but they keep booking there cheap fares. We all know they don’t care if your flight is cancelled or the flight crew turn up to the gate an hour late. This won’t be fixed anytime soon as they want people to fly with Qantas to appease there shareholders. If you book the cheap fare then expect to be pushed to the back of the queue

I think Zero stars would be more appropriate. Delayed by hours almost every time we fly. In Feb it 6 hours. Last night my son's flight from Brisbane was delayed 4x before being cancelled. Plane load of people stranded at the airport in the middle of the night. By the time they eventually got to a hotel it was after 2AM. Could not have less respect or more contempt for a business than I do for Jetstar.

Special thanks to Jetstar for ruining Christmas! JQ916 Flight cancelled 1h before departure. Massive cue to rebook flights, stuck in Hotel overnight, then flight tomorrow morning to Proserpine followed by a 3h drive North to Townsville by rental car! Not even an apology! Thanks Alan Joyce...at least you're putting the $2 billion Government Covid Bailout to good use!

Don't be fooled by their prices. You get what you pay for. Boarded a 1 hour delayed flight which realised it had a problem with the AC system (if they're telling the truth) after reaching the runway. Flight went back and returned to the runway to go back again for the same problem. Resulted in a 5 hour delay, a swapped flight, and them giving us a $8 meal voucher which was useless since they don't take card payment if you order anything over $8? The 'helpful' staff didn't even help an old lady get her wheelchair.

With a 57.5% on time departure rate I was always reluctant to fly jetstar. Combine that with the no frills and every possible option results in an increased ticket price. The ticket prices may look low but the cost of inconvenience, stress and delayed departure and arrival is just not worth it.Jetstar Flight JQ775 from Adelaide to Melbourne was delayed by over an hour - you wouldn't know this by the flight display boards though because Jetstar doesn't bother to update them. There was no sense of urgency to make up for the delay and the half hearted 'apology' during the pre-flight announcement was probably repeated by the Captain on most flights. The explanation handpass was blamed on the 'previous flight was delayed'.This delay directly led to Hotel staff having to wait on overtime for us to check in, as well as us being delayed in attending a dinner booked at a restaurant.On our return flight I took careful note that EVERY departing Jetstar flight could not identify the departure gate. This smacks of an airline that is seriously disorganised and is thoroughly unprofessional.
