The staff at Birkdale Veterinary Clinic were wonderful when I brought in an injured rainbow lorikeet. The first vet I took him to turned him away and I was really unsure what to do next until BVC was recommended to me, but in the end, I was so glad the first vet didn't take him because the BVC staff were so professional and caring and he is in much better hands with them than with a vet who doesn't care about his wellbeing. Thank you so much.

Amazing Staff, Nurses and Veterinarians around! Had a bit of an emergency with my little dog over Christmas and after speaking with Nikita she asked the Vet on duty whether my baby could be fit in and he obliged. Wonderful care and service!

Birkdale Vet sent through a text message with the wrong timeof 6.00pm today, they then rang to say I was late and that my appointment was actually for 5.40pm, I advised them that the text message said the wrong time and they wouldn't even acknowledge what I said.. Just completely ignored anything I had to say and spoke over the top of me. I don't even know why they were bothered as they have always made me wait for 10-15 minutes in the past (which is always great when you are trying to hold a pet and keep them calm). They also try to upsell you into their sub quality brands at outrageous prices whenever you are in there. Had some friends that advised me not to go there for the reasons above and I had previously defended Birkdale Vet, wish I hadn't.

Thankful they were able to fit me in at short notice when I discovered an access on my cats chin.They were very welcoming and VET Clare was able to explain exactly what was going on and follow up treatment.Very local for me and parking right out front.A great range of both dog and cat food, accessories and medicines.Nice clean waiting area.

Friendly staff and great care for our new pup ! Good prices and excellent advice.

My Bundy is a regular here along with our Tiddles. These guys are great people and so wonderful supportive in helping us manage our dog's Cushings illness. Can't get better.
