Always had good experiences at grays at Arndell park , staff always friendly and willing to help when asked. Car descriptions have improved vastly from prior which is giving the car a true accurate description. Some training on collection staff would be great as appears as if they were thrown in the job with no training. Overall a good auction house! If you prepared to take the risk on some cars you win and some are bad!

If you cant test drive then dont buy. Grays reputation is very bad and sell what others cant sell. If you want buy a shitbox buy from Grays. No warranty and no rights under consumer law.

This company is an absolute scam. Usually I never write negative reviews on google but that’s beyond acceptable.I bought a Mitsubishi Triton 2010 for $5500 with the fault stated that the airbag light is on. If it would be only that one I would never complain.The car is completely trash, firstly the handbrake/ warning light is also on. I put a dispute through to get my money back because as grays stated on their website you’ll get your money back if there are any other major issues which are not stated in the description the buyer is eligible for a refund. At this stage I waited 4-6 weeks to get my refund and the outcome was that they can’t refund it.After the long time waiting for their processing time, I decided to pick up the car and just get it repaired as it’s still not that bad if it’s just the handbrake light and airbag light. However on the day, I tried my ‘luck’ to pick up the car, I could nearly drive 50m until the engine starting to blowing smoke and the engine light went on. Furthermore the car wouldn’t pop into the second gear which I assume is a faulty gearbox as well.Besides of that car I bought a few other cars in the past, which had issues after 100km driving like the engine lights going on. I assume if they just wanna get rid off a car they just disconnect the battery and the engine light is off.I can recommend you if you are not a wrecking yard don’t buy these cars.I am still waiting for my refund to processed after 6-8 weeks.

Purchased a car from Buy Now, not auction.Richard was nice and helpful, however I wasn’t told at all that I only had 24h to cancel the deposit, so I had to purchase the car otherwise pay 10% cancellation fee…..Anyways, the car wasn’t bad but all the promises made before purchase were only 30% fulfilled, the car had smoke smell, uncleaned interior with cigarette particles, roof sun damaged…I felt betrayed many times, I was supposed to find a better car without all these issues but I was tied to the contract as well as promised so many things that weren’t fixed/cleaned properly.Do not recommend unless you find a car without any of those issues.

I wish I could give them a zero. In fact I wish I checked the reviews first. I bought a $12,5000 car from Grays at auction. The gearbox felt very funny as soon as I got in. I thought that it might just need to warm up. Well after driving for a fairly short distance and realising that I did not have any auto changing OR 2nd, 4th, 6th or reverse gears, I pulled into a VW car dealer. The VW car dealer pulled things apart and after $800, resolved that the gearbox was toast and would require a $8,000-$10,000 repair/replacement. I approached Grays who led me along for 20 days before saying they are unable/unwilling to help. I now own a $13,000 boat anchor. This company are a fraud and knowingly sold me a broken car. They would have known as soon as they drove it from the carpark to me that the gearbox was not changing gears. Steer clear. There is NO warranty, NO care and NO ethics.

I have been buying goods from Grays for many many years ( over 25 years) but recently they are starting to sell items that are of absolutely no use. From cars to daily household items. I bout two cars from Grays trusting the company image, but I went wrong recently. Bought a hair shaver that was completely worn, used, and unrepairable. I could easily find better than that in the rubbish dump and I paid $14.00. Absolute rip-off. Bought a food blender but some part was broken and no mention of it in the description section, bought a coffee grinder a few days later smoke came out from it and broke. The list goes on and on. I even see some people pay a higher price for no warranty product than easily available in the market.Do your price research before you buy the item. The company name suggests Grays". In fact

I bid extensively on grays and have spent thousands of dollars over tha last year but never again... The app is set up to rip you off when bidding on multiple items... Stay away from Grays online, there are better places to buy fro. And also cheaper as well especially when they ad there 20% buyer premium admin fees and the robbing Grays protect they slug a dollar on each purchase.. STAY AWAY FROM GRAYS

I bought car from these guys. First day when I reached home. Engine light got on. I email them. They said us report from mechanic. Then I replied on same email and sent report 10 times. But they we haven’t received any email. They are scammers. Highly not recommend. Don’t buy anything from these guys. I don’t wanna give bad reviews. But to be honest don’t buy anything from them.

Worst customer service. Although they start off great, super helpful and friendly when they think they are making a sale.I paid a deposit on a car and then got in a car accident with my current car of which I was going to sell. Had to pull out of my purchase for the car they were selling me and I was told I could get my deposit back no problem.Still waiting for my deposit after 3 months of countless calls and emails. Whenever I call the salesman he just says sorry there’s nothing I can do it’s up to the office to sort out.I no longer get a response so doesn’t look like I will get my deposit back without taking it further.

Worst auction house to deal with. They lost the car we had won at auction and only after an hour trying to find it on the lot discovered it had accidentally been sent to Victoria. It then took 6 weeks to have it transported back all whilst they kept our money. We have started a complaint with fair trading. The staff are rude and have no training or experience. Customer service is non existent and the man who finally brought our car to us was VAPING inside. Seriously! The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. The car yard looks like a scrap heap with rubbish everywhere and absolutely no Covid safe policy.Do yourself a favour and buy from Pickles, their service is professional and second to none.
