Woolworths Plenty Valley

Can’t buy anything from the deli, as it’s all packed up. It’s 7:15pm Saturday night, the store closes at 10pm. Pretty disappointed, why have a deli, if it’s going to be closed before dinner time?

Woolworths Plenty Valley is a good store to shop at. I'm usually in and out, no fuss, Staff are friendly and helpful. Thats what we all need these days.

I bought this last week and cooked it. It smelt like dirt when was boiling the rice. I rinsed the cooked rice and tasted it and it was like I took a mouthful of dirt. The taste was off. So I thoroughly rinsed the raw rice and cooked another batch. Same thing! I smelt the bag and it literally smells like dirt.??? Not happy.I am not one to complain but this really set me off.

Went this morning (15/11/2022) around 7.15am to buy some basics, including bread. This is what we came across. The lady that was stocking the shelves were doing her stock rotation (FIFO). Guess that's one way of doing it.NO, the bread were NOT EXPIRED! (As you can see on the close-up. Expiry date 18/11/2022). They just go on the front of the shelves after the new batch is put on the back of the shelves.Hope the management take notice and not sell contaminated food (people have walk across those aisles after 'the last clean' with contaminated shoes they wore to the toilet, public areas, etc.. and leave 'stuff' behind. Food hygiene 101).

I went this morning 17/12/22to buy some chicken roll from the dally the young man started slicing and he was just dropping slices in the plastic bag i told him it needs to be stacked properly he said he couldn't do it the plastic bag was small he needs to be trained properly and both employees didn't wear gloves not good enough i left the chicken roll there i never bought it i went woolworths on plenty rd much beter service

Trolleys been locked is a huge dissappointment. I have stopped coming here.

Appalling service this afternoon in self checkout area by staff member named Ranja. She was rude and unhelpful. Needed to remove a couple of things from my purchases having gone over what i budgeted for. This annoyed her and she had trouble doing it. She said now i have other customers waiting ". At one stage in the middle of helping me she just left me standing there without a word to assist some one else . Then she had trouble fixing my problem to which i asked her what i should do? Her reply was " i dont know ". Then she just walked away!!! I had to figure it out myself apparantly which i managed to do..Never been spoken to or treated so rudely by anyone in customer service. I myself work in customer service and i wouldn't have a job if i treated my customers like she did to me nor would i even want to treat people that rudely. No point ringing to complain because no body seems to answer the phone here. With saying all that the younger staff are friendly and helpful when we shop here. She should remove her jacket which says...Im here to help

After shopping at Coles for year's, I have now been shopping at woolies Westfield South Morang. Best Staff who are actually willing to go and get fresh products from the fruit and vegetables when no stock on shelf, with a smile. Willing to open registers and I find woolies Alway's has products on the shelf, and cheaper than other Big Supermarkets . Thank you woolies.

Too crowded. The MacDonald Road branch is nice and not cluttered. Customers should make use of the less crowded branch rather than crowding the Plenty Valley branch.

Enjoy the tidiness and spaciousness which has been nice to notice in all new woollies locations I've visited in recent years. The space surprisingly leads to a noticeably improved grocery shopping experience. This might be due in part to a reaction to covid with more space feeling more comfortable that less space.
