MDI Tiling

Do not use MDI Tiling so unprofessional. I had to get other tradies in to fix up there poor workmanship. Google gave me no choice to give them a one star rating otherwise I wouldn’t have given them anything. So disappointed I should have read there reviews before hand.

If i could leave no star i would.Steer clear of this company, unprofessional. Doesn't communicate!! quote as text message, wants cash instalments. when you question something his guys walk off the job.. tiler's put rubbish and off cuts in our neighbours bins and under their carport. NEVER EVER use this company. We now need to find a tiler willing to coming and finish our job.

Terrible tiler. Hired with a understanding he’d be doing the tiling, a “business partner” of his arrived to do the tiling and didn’t speak a lick of English, no license to be seen. Demanded cash on a daily basis as progress payments. Didn’t complete the job and didn’t advise that pieces were missing prior to completion. Grouted the tiles the wrong colour and did not return to either fix the correction or complete the job. Didn’t return phone calls or messages after

Was good pre job stage. Seemed knowledgeable and agreed to complete job to requirements. Sent quote via sms with pricing.Started working and demanded it be a cash job. No invoice. Or the job would attract GST. Pricing in sms didn't stipulate there was no GST applied.Labour spoke very little English. Didn't communicate he was starting for the day or leaving. Just treated our home like a construction site.Part way through job agreed work was not completed as it was not in writing in the quote. It was discussed 2 times prior to the job commenincing. Additional tiles were ordered for the skirting.Medi is unprofessional and accuses the hirer of requesting jobs for free.Rubbish was piled up against colourbond fence. Damaged exisiting concrete surface.Tiling work leaves a lot to be deserved. Tiles have lips. There where numerous discussions about the fall. Tile edges have been kicked up so water has nowhere to go but sit and pool.Demands progress payments without prior consultation.Has not returned to rectify, has stopped retuning calls.Overall a very unpleasant experience. 1000% would be never recommend this business.

Completed job accordingly to my budget, with good quality finish

Medhi quoted the job and sold himself on how much experience he has a tiler himself, said he would be doing all the work.Once the job had started we did not see him again, he would send strangers into my home that could not supply certification.I told medhi before the job had commenced that we would be receiving the last of our tiles the following month due to stock issues and he assured me it was no problem and they would simply return and finish the work as he had quoted for the walls to be tiled all the way to the ceiling.Once I contacted him he all of a sudden had extra fees and refused to refund me the remaining the money that would’ve covered someone local to come and finish the job.He demanded cash daily and never gave the option to pay via bank transfer or invoice, instead leaving bundles of $1000-1500 cash in a hiding spot for his friends to pick up like it was some sort of crime deal.The tiling job is average and lacks attention to detail, the two men tiling also dropped a tile in a brand new bath and put a hole in it then decided to cover it with rubbish so it could not be seen until they left.
