Confectionery Capers
Absolutely worth a visit. Amazing! The time and attention to detail taken to create this place is exceptional. It is heaps of fun for kids and fascinating for adults. Very affordable - make sure you take cash! It was quite noisy with all of the whizzing & whirring, but we had a brilliant time looking at it all. Not really pram friendly - it'd be much easier to carry a young one in a baby carrier. The colour & movement & mechanical genius in this place is unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it, and so glad we went.

Definitely not a lolly shop, but lollies are used in Cam's displays. Small fee to enter. Lots of buttons to push. A lot of fun and amusing activities and toys. Innovative displays. Displays are a quirky way of remembering words and to see how pulley systems etc work. 4 Kids loved it, 3 adults enjoyed seeing old toys we used to play with. We spent over an 1hr there, Cam did not rush us. Down fall, could do with a bit of a dusting and fairly noisy. Place worth going to. Cam loves showing his creations and enjoys getting involved.

We had a blast! Kids ended up not wanting to leave. A place where your creativity, logic and humour are tested. As you enter you’ll be amaze of how extraordinary the place is… literary puns combined with mechanical and force laws. Kids have an awesome fun while learning heaps. We are so privileged to meet the legend behind Confectionery Capers before he retires, Campbell. Friendly, funny and intellectual man he is. We admire his works and passion to the fullest. We hope there’ll be someone as passionate as Campbell to takeover the place comes he retires. We 110% recommend this place. One of the best place to visit whilst in Bendigo.

This was absolutely stunning and a fun place we could spend hours in learning about mechanics and physics! Lots of English puns too. Plenty of things to see and buttons to press

I call this place sensory overload! In a fun, interesting, and educational way, though. Great for all ages, and a must see with kids if you’re in the Bendigo area.
