I highly recommend Chris at All Cars Garage. He recently serviced my Landcruiser 200 Series and I noticed a very marked improvement. This was the first time I'd had it serviced outside the dealership I purchased it from. I will be letting Chris look after my Cruiser from now on. I also liked that he was friendly and professional. It's obvious vehicles are more than a trade to him.

I have for Chris only the best words.I had bad experience in the the past with dodgy mechanics and Chris is definitely not one of those. He is honest and provides excellent service!He discussed with me all costs and options beforehand so no surprises. They even vacuumed my car! WOW! If you want a down-to-earth, quality mechanic who has YOUR best interests at heart, you HAVE to check out Chris at All Cars Garage.I took my vehicle into Chris after I'd been to another mechanic who charged me for services they shouldn't and who despite providing a $3,600 list of additional repairs, failed to respond to my requests to book in to have the work done.First off, Chris provided a comparative quote for the same work for more than $1,000 less than the other mob, and asked me to bring my vehicle in to check out some of the other items I had (that hadn't been quoted) so he could accurately price them.This is where Chris really shined. After placing my vehicle on the hoist, Chris noticed that the oil leak I'd been quoted as a rocket cover replacement, was likely a head gasket issue. Chris took a photo of the oil, showed me, and explained that due to the position of the leak, IT WAS LIKELY A HEAD GASKET AND HE WOULDN'T PERFORM ANY WORK ON MY CAR UNTIL THIS WAS CONFIRMED BECAUSE I'D BE THROWING MY MONEY.How good is that? A mechanic that actually cares about his customer's hip pocket!Better still, Chris only charged me an inspection fee and said that if his diagnosis was correct and confirmed when I return a week later (today), there will be NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.Having followed Chris's instructions, I returned this morning and Chris confirmed the head gasket was stuffed. Being a 2009 Subaru Forester with 301,000kms on the clock, it was obviously no use spending the $2,500 on repairs for the other items, nor spending the rough equivalent of replacing the engine/head gasket.Chris was politely upfront and direct in his approach and had my interests at heart the entire time.If you need your car serviced, inspected (roadworthy or otherwise), or repaired, I SERIOUSLY RECOMMENDED YOU TAKE IT TO CHRIS AT ALL CARS GARAGE AT CALOUNDRA where your car and your wallet will be well looked after :)

He sourced secondhand parts to save costs, carried out additional labour that wasn't charged and offered options to work within budget constraints.All Cars has carried out extensive repairs on my 79 series Landcruiser including brake controller wiring, bushes front and rear, hubs, clutch replacement and gearbox/t case inspection. I will continue to use All Cars for servicing and repairs for the life of the vehicle.

Worth driving from Brisbane for the honesty and workmanship.Chris and the team were able to correctly diagnose and repair an issue with our VW that another mechanic had not been able to resolve. Highly recommended!
