What a fantastic place to spend the day with the family. When you arrive you can pick up a rod and bait, and the team will direct you to one of the many gorgeous freshest pools to fish from. There are trout and salmon of varying sizes and the kids had a blast catching their own fish. The grounds are spectacular, too. Big shady trees and lush lawns. I recommend a BYO picnic.You pay for what you catch and the team will even gut and fillet it for you.Can't wait to come back. A brilliant day out.

Even if you have never thought about this before, you should do it! So much fun for adults and children alike. Our 10 year old daughter was underwhelmed with the idea of going, however was soon ‘hooked’ and came out fully enthused by the whole thing!Staff are very helpful, lots of fish - and if you don’t want to catch them, you can just feed them, which is great fun in itself. You only pay for what you catch and just $2 to feed them.Surroundings are stunning. Highly recommend a visit!

What a great morning. Catching a couple of fish for xmas lunch. Dog friendly. The guys were very helpful. Great price too. We got a medium salmon and a medium trout plus a small smoked trout for $60 great value. Heaps cheaper than the markets.

We love this place. The owner is very friendly. You can catch your own trout or salmon and take it home to cook. As fresh as it could be. The landscape is magnificent and if you’re not too much into fishing, you can always feed the fish in the ponds. Right next to the bike trail, so you can always visit if you’re bike riding too.

Excellent fun for the kids and very reasonably priced considering they only charge you by weight after the fish is gutted. Highly recommend you get them to fillet the fish for you. Some ponds were more challenging and the fish wouldn’t bite for ages and would swim right past your bait but other ponds the fish hooked themselves within seconds of dropping your bait in. There’s toilets at the car park. Plenty of car spaces. Beautiful gardens and surrounds for those not into fishing as well. Highly recommend. Have fun!

I am not sure why this doesn't show up in the top family-friendly things to do in Bright. The kids loved it! we took our 2.5 years old and 4 year old and they had so much fun catching fish

I enjoyed fishing at this place with my family. Managed to catch a salmon with its tummy full of eggs. $24 for trout and $32 for salmon.Fishing rod and bait supplied at site for free. Cleaning is also free. $5 for filleting and $3 for cutlets.Ample parking onsite. Make sure you go early as the place closes at 4.

Great setup and suitable for all ages. Fishing rods and bait supplied. Fish are cleaned before being weighed/priced. Filleting is $5 per fish. Our group enjoyed the experience.

What a beautiful spot to experience something so unique! Yes it was raining non stop but we caught a few fish and had a good time. Staff very friendly. Sad to hear it's selling but hopefully the future owners take it to the next level!
