I had a broken exhaust light wire worth about $4. The guy was super friendly and ended up giving me a replacement wire for free.

Had a consultation (in excess of two hours) with a lighting designer which seemed really positive. I was told a preliminary design would be provided the following week. However, nothing. Waited a couple of weeks then sent an email. Still nothing. Picked up the phone and left a message with someone else for the designer. You guessed it...nothing. Finally, thinking this was getting bizarre, I contacted again by phone and was put through to the designer's supervisor. I was expecting to hear the designer had been taking seriously ill or some other catastrophe; instead, he expressed surprise and assured me that the designer or himself would be in touch to discuss. A couple of weeks later...nothing. Obviously, I've now given up and gone elsewhere. Proceed with caution.Update: Following my review I finally received a call from the supervisor. Apparently, management had seen my comments and were concerned. To his credit, he apologised and assured me they would like to have assisted me (noting, of course, that I've already gone elsewhere) and he had presumed I'd already been contacted by the lighting designer. I never did get an explanation for the bizarre behaviour, so I can only assume my $2M+ house build wasn't significant enough as a project. Nevertheless, kudos to the manager for insisting on a follow-up - it's good to know someone in their business is diligent and concerned with customer service.
