Anyone wanting a spectacular location to just switch off and enjoy your surroundings Amaroo Escape is the perfect place.Jim & Sue are absolute gems, and really good at what they do. Especially making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.Not a single detail has been missed.5 stars is not enough for this one.We can't wait to go back!

We spent two nights at Amaroo Escape for our 50th anniversary. It is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts have gone above and beyond expectations with the accommodation. They have thought of everything that you could possibly want and provided it. There is no internet, phone or TV and that is perfect as all you want to do is relax and enjoy the serenity. Could recommend spending time here enough ❤️

We came to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did.From the moment we arrived we knew this was something quite special. The accommodation was exceptional with nothing to fault. That bed wow, and the tranquility of hearing the water rush over the rocks. We had an amazing time at Amaroo for our 3 night stay. Everything from the greeting when we arrived to the goodbye when we left. Nothing was left out. If you didn't like to full high pillow to sleep with, there was a low small pillow as well. The inclusions were carefully thought out, it was truly a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this retreat to everybody I know, and will be back the next chance we get.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Jim & Susan have created a real haven here with beautifully appointed cabins that are cozy and private taking glamping to a whole new level! I hope it survives these awful floods as it is a very special place. Love all the happy dairy cows they saved from the knackery too, bless! A real country escape! :)

Amaroo is a piece of paradise, we had a beautiful winter escape. We have re-booked for the summer to experience a different season and enjoy the river. Would highly recommend, this is a must do !!! Jim & Susie are fabulous hosts

Posting on behalf of my husband :)My wife and I had our babymoon here and loved every minute of our stay over Easter. Jim and Susan are amazing and have set up Amaroo perfect, u cannot fault the place one bit and they have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay more relaxing and enjoyable. The UTV carts are perfect for getting around the property to the many water holes, picnic spots, to see the whole farm and all the cows. The room, bathroom and kitchen are perfect with a very comfortable bed. The balcony was amazing to sit on and have a couple cold ones and look out at the view over the river. We will definitely be coming back again. 12 out of 10 for this stay and definitely recommend anyone who wants to stay there.Andrew and Jayne Farrell.

OMG Amaroo Escape, what a beautiful property with beautiful owners. Thai place is just magnificent, so peaceful and relaxing. The UTV are great to get out and about on the property to get to the best swimming holes and view over the valley. The tents are just spectacular, Jim and Susan really thought of everything you need for your stay. And the mattress is to die for.Can’t wait to get back there for another getaway.
