Stopped for fish and chips at Watsons Bay before we got on the ferry. Freshly cooked and very nice. Pretty hood value compared to the Doyles restaurant further up the bay.

Great value fish and chips of high quality for the price. You can't expect silver service here as it's essentially a take-away with tables but after coming here half a dozen times, I found the service efficient and friendly. The lady serving at the bar is always polite.The fishermans basket is always super fresh and batter is crunchy are the chips. The lobster morney at $50 is great for the price with chips and salad but the lobster is quite small.You need to order and pick up the food yourself or you can pay triple the price across the road at their restaurant.

After being disappointed at the restaurant, we ended up here. The chap on the counter had a basic grasp of English, and eventually, we ordered. Scallops in mornay sauce, half lobster in mornay sauce with chips and salad. Portions are generous, and overall food was okay. You have to keep in mind that this is a tourist trap when you look at the prices. Having tables out the back was a bonus.

Doyles on the Wharf Take Away. is one of the affordable place for Lunch.. It is having choice of fish portion.we have tried combo Pack , Piece of Fish , Kids Chicken nuggets with chips, Garlic Prawns with Rice etc.Pros:Galic Prawns with Rice was testy and amazing.With so many order they are very quick.Cons :The batter on fish is really bland. They should add some spices to make it more testy. Even they can marinate those fishes with some spices.Should give better sauce with fish meal.Chicken Nuggets were not fresh.same like fish and chips it should be grilled fish option in reasonable prise

I come here every time I visit Sydney - the fish basket is amazing! We usually eat on a bench in the park, but there were a lot of seagulls and was about to rain, so we ate inside with a view over the water. Really lovely sauces!

I got a quick takeaway pack from Doyles today and I wasn’t disappointed. The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. All your expected condiments were present and enhanced the experience.Watch out for the seagulls lurking about. I recommend making your way further away to eat your takeaway.Well done guys!

Doyles is well known for their fish and chips + great view. Worth waiting to order and eat their fried goodies.I had the seafood basket and it was quite filling and quality was pretty goodThe view was just top notch and it was very calm place to be. It’s a great place for family gatheringMy fish didn’t tasted that fresh or good but overall my fish & chips crave was fulfilled afterwardsFor these reasons I give this place 3 bears

Doyle’s offers some of the best no frills, and down to earth fish and chips served in a paper basket. The fisherman’s basket for two for around $25 is always my go to, and always with plum sauce! The food speaks for itself, and being so close to the ocean you can’t go wrong!

As a well known, well positioned, multi location Fish & Chip shop, on the water that charges almost $30 for fish & chips. So you’d expect something decent.Honestly the chips were inedible, how can you mess up chips so badly? It’s 50% of the ingredients on your signage. They were dense, dry, powdery and tasted of old grease. The fish was passable, but not great. Also the food was given to us completely unsalted, a wild presumption that a. The food was good enough without seasoning, b. We’d think to take some extra salt with us (we had takeaway).This is the second time I’ve tried this place… as I thought maybe it was just a bad day last time… I was wrong.

Best place for a seafood platter, close to home. Fantastic views, great sunsets, wonderful staff and fresh fish. The atmosphere is fabulous.
