Didn’t even listen to the actual problem with the laptop. Just interested in collecting upfront assessment charges. Later informed me that motherboard issues and laptop is unrepairable and didn’t even bothered to share details.

Paid 90$ bucks for him to basically do nothing. He switched my ram into another slot which I told him to leave and his conclusion was my psu didn't work. Wouldn't recommend

Would be nice if they answered their phone, they even hung up on me! Don't know how you run a buisness this way. Was after price and availability. Taking my buisness elsewhere. Like MSY, at least they answer the phone.Would rate zero stars if i could, appauling and rude.

Not really helpful at all and expensive. Quoted 50% more than a computer store in Chatswood and twice as much as I ended up paying for the same thing elsewhere.

Had a problem that I'd come back to my computer and find it had shut down. It also would take a long time to turn off. JEC charged me $219 to change my power supply. Didn't fix the problem. Another 40min drive to Hornsby and again to pick it up and it turned out to be a Windows software problem. At least he didn't charge me to look at it the second time ( so 2 stars not 1). I declined the $200 estimate to fix it. Power supply was probably OK. !!! I always went to NSCom - GREAT PEOPLE!!! Before going to JEC, I rang NSCom who said it might be the power supply but it could be software too and said of course we test it first. THEN they said - but today is our last day here so we can't fix it for you today (NS Comm have been FAST b4) but we can tomorrow but you'll have to pick it up from our other shop in ?Brookvale. ARRGH! So I made the mistake of going down the road to JEC.... I'm not going there again.

Paid $59 to simply install office on my new MacBook. The computer guy didn’t even ask me what username etc I like to use. He made a mess in my new MacBook and now I cannot even use Microsoft outlook. I would NOT recommend them, he has no idea!!

To summarise, great knowledge, great product selection and great cost.Amazing! Speaking as a CTO of a SAAS company - finally a computer shop who actually stock the best brands per cost bracket with shop attendants who actually know their stuff.Look in a lot of stores, you get cheap knock off stock - what I was impressed by with this store is they had cheaper (but the reputable) options, but mainly showcased high end products (that ultimately save you money).I found that the prices were comparable to that that you would buy online through a discount store.Please guys - support this Hornsby store so we have it around for many years to come!

Bought thermal paste here for $10, no brand on it, no receipt provided and it is only like one drop. The paste lasts only about 6 months. Doggy place, not recommended.

Good customer service and responsible on jobMy Microsoft laptop keyboard coming off due to glue issue, and he fixed it very nicely over night, and opened the shop until late for me to pick it up.
