Caretaker could not have been more friendly. Problem is that it is more of a mining camp than a caravan park with lots of workers coming and going. Also heavy traffic from trucks and trains can be heard during the night.

Great rooms. I have been in two of the motel rooms out the front and they have been spacious and clean. There is a fair bit of noise off the highway and train tracks but it hasn't stopped me sleeping quite well in the queen sized bed. There are no blackout curtains for night shift, but the aircon stayed cold all day so it wasn't a huge problem. Food is hit and miss, excellent some days and average others.

Been here many times before. Rooms are run down and not maintained properly.Booked a cabin was given a caravan instead stunk inside like septic. Hot water stopped 2 times within 3 days and their fix was get a can of wd40 out of your Ute and spray it in the power socket and plug it back in as it gets a bit of water in there.Will book elsewhere next time

Very nice staff but very very expensive for not much comfort, good clean toilet blocks and a dining hall but designed more for dongers than caravans. Would only recommend short 1-2 day stays

Very expensive very plain no breezes. I was glad to leave and go to a free camping spot that had way more to offer than paid

More of a workers camp really, full of permanent workers cabins. Caravan area is small, only about 6 sites, no grass or shade. Amenities were clean. Can hear coal trains all night.
