We were very impressed with the level of care given to our rather large wirehaired pointer who suffered necrosis and MRSA infection after a previous tail amputation. The service and care was exceptional.The cost of the second operation, medication, treatments and after care was 2/3 the cost of the previous op and Lisa's consultation on all available treatment options was excellent. I'd recommend this vet to any in need of a high level of care.

We had a Xmas day nightmare, with our dog coming down with a mystery illness. Sandy Paws was the rostered emergency vet for Yamba-Maclean-Iluka over the holidays. We had a super useful telephone consult to start with, and they recommended emergency care. We checked our dog in late afternoon on Xmas day. It was just as well — the situation was serious. We had the very best care from the Sandy Paws team, with twice daily calls from Lisa, clear explanations, long conversations, all our questions answered. Lisa was so sensitive and thorough. She accommodated our whole family for a visit at a really critical time. There were lots of tears; the situation was grim. Yet we pulled through! I can’t commend Sandy Paws more highly. Seven Stars from me.
