My experience is quite the contrary.Peter is extremely knowledgeable, insightful and very helpful. At the end of a 12 month lease, we vacated a Sydney property managed by Oz Combined Realty, Surry Hills. During the final inspection, the Oz Combined Realty Agent in attendance commented that we had taken good care of the property. However, that afternoon, we received an online RBO notification initiated by this Agent, claiming the full rental bond. No explanation or report was provided.Upon calling said Agent, we were curtly informed that without evidence of pre-existing damage, the full bond would be retained to fund repairs to cracked windows and significantly damaged stairs at the front and rear of the property.Thankfully, some 12 months earlier in the first few days of our lease, we had taken the time to photograph the damage in question, not to mention numerous additional issues. We also retained a video tour of the property provided by this Agency prior to the commencement of our lease and in lieu of an on-site inspection unavailable during COVID. Both the video and photos unequivocally evidenced all alleged damage as pre-existing.After some stressful toing and froing, we managed to secure a full refund of our bond. An explanatory apology was not forthcoming. In the absence of date stamped photographic evidence, one can only imagine the outcome.We hasten to add that throughout our tenancy, numerous requests were made to Oz Combined Realty to repair pre-existing damage presenting a safety risk. At the end of our lease, the pre-existing damage remained. Worse still, Oz Combined Realty had attempted to hold us responsible for its repair.

Peter was fabulous throughout the sales process. Persistent, professional and pursued the best possible price for us in a difficult market.We have no hesitation in recommending Oz Combined to anyone wishing to sell their property.

Upon finishing our lease for a rental property in Sydney, we had our last inspection with one of the agents where we were told everything was in order.We had at this stage, overpaid in rent based on our last payment made and rent monies were due back to us.We had followed up numerous times (by phone and email) and had spoken to numerous people in the office (including the owner) who stated the overpaid rent would be refunded to us.Six weeks after vacating, the agent contacted us stating that the new tenant (who has been living there for the last 5 weeks) had reported that the end of lease cleaning was not to standard. The agent then asked us to fix the cleaning issues found. We had responded that surely it is not plausible for us to be held accountable for mess in an apartment 5 weeks after the new tenant moved in.It is also worth mentioning our bond was refunded in full weeks before, clearly indicating there were no issues when we vacated the property.Subsequent to this email exchange, the agent had stopped responding to our requests for our overpaid rental money to be refunded.Still, 5 months later, there is no refund forthcoming and we are still waiting….
