Triple J Tours
Joined skipper Grant on the 6hr Ord River cruise yesterday and it was a highlight of our stay in Kununurra. Grant is a really knowledgeable and approachable local who gave a great overview of the scheme's history and its hydraulics. Also a keen conservationist, who spotted many freshwater crocs and birds for us along the way. Sixty years since the diversion dam's build, the river is now a beautiful lush environment. Great day out

Joey ran a great tour for our group, alternating between taking the time to point out wildlife and explain the river system, to going super fast which was lots of fun. Afternoon tea of cake, scones and fruit was lovely. A great afternoon out!

Fantastic day! Bus trip out to Argyle lake was very entertaining with lots of knowledge, history and humour from Hazel, then a 3.5hr boat ride (jet boat speed in many places) under the command of Joey who was super knowledgeable about the Ord River scheme and lots of humour thrown in! A generous afternoon tea and we arrived back to town just as the sun was setting. Best tour!

Couldn't fault the Triple J team from pick up to taking off on the fast boat and back to our venue.The captain of both boats were helpful in spotting wildlife and informative about the area.Afternoon tea was delicious as well.Thanks for an awesome afternoon.

From Kununurra in the East Kimberly’s to Argyle Dam via the Ord river in a great river boat was a fantastic way to see the sights. Knowledgeable guides in Grant and Jeoff. The scenery is awesome

Wow thank you Joey the boat tour up Lake Kununurra Ord River totally enjoyed. Very informative lots to see loved your sense of humour. Lunch was delicious and fresh. Bus trip back to Kununurra was comfortable.

We had a fabulous three and a half hour boat cruise from the other side of the Lake Argyle dam wall to Kununurra at sunset. The time went so quick and we stopped halfway for afternoon tea. Our guide Grant was knowledgeable and super friendly. The history of the development of Ord River Scheme is very interesting too. It was lovely to sometimes go really fast on the speed boat powered by three V8 outboard motors, sometimes cruise slowly and other times completely stop to hear the birds or silence. Very memorable and such beautiful scenery.

We had a fabulous boat trip down the Ord River with Lucas as boat driver and expert educationalist highlighting a most exceptional ecosystem and its abundant wildlife. Included in the day was a riverside afternoon tea with homemade scones and muffins. Thanks for a marvellous day Lucas.
