Lions Park

A good park for kids with a big sand pit. Should bring a scooter here to enjoy your afternoon.

Lions Park is a great park for kids - babies up to 10 years old (although better up to about 7-8).The park has an oval scooter track with a slight incline and decline as well as poles to go through and a play gas station. Within the track is a decent patch of grass for kicking a ball around or a picnic.A large sandpit provides a lot of entertainment with a fun set of equipment that transports sand from one end to the other through various stations, as well as a sand digger. It's also well shaded.A climbing net, swings, and a couple of small slides complete the play area.A small half basketball half court for older kids is available and in good condition.Facilities include drinking water, two barbecue hot plates, tables and chairs, and bathrooms (no change table).Parking is free and is sufficient for this smaller park.Recommended for young families.

Great Park. Offers large grassed areas sand pits slides toilets swings half court for basketball and a small bike track. It's just really run down now needs a lot of maintenance.

Great place to take kids and play. Plenty of play equipment - swings, slide, etc. A basketball court and a wide grass area. There's a short track for walking/jogging or for kids to ride their bike/scooter - be mindful it's not wide enough for much riding traffic.There's also picnic tables, BBQ areas, taps and bubblers. Public toilets also not far and there is parking available.Great place for gatherings and very family friendly.

Lovely local park - bring ur sand toys! A large grassed area, a scooter track for youngsters, a climbing frame. And for the older kids a basketball hoop on the same court as a wall for hitting tennis balls against. A great spot midweek as it can get busy on the weekend.

Great park for kids of all ages. Super track for bikes and scooters, and for mums to walk around whilst the kids play. There's a huge sandpit with interactive equipment, as well as swings and basketball area. Picnic tables make it ideal for a day's outing.

It's a nice small park with plenty of playground for kids and a full set of facilities for having a bbq. There is a pair of bbq grills, taps, bubbler, and toilets.It even has a half court basketball hoop which is rather rare in Sydney.Parking is accessible from Shaftsbury Road.
