The Packing and Moving Company

I was quoted for two trucks and checked the insurance policy they had before booking. The team worked really hard and did accommodate the fact that we needed to use a hoist (that I paid for separately) to move some of the furniture. However, they only used one truck and so items were shoved into the cab behind and under the seats. One painting had the glass broken, another had chips taken out along the top and an ornament was apparently broken before it was wrapped (it said broken on the paper), but was told they found it like that. It wasn't. I asked to claim on the insurance and was told it wasn't covered as it happened in transit. Maybe it did or maybe it was when it was shoved behind a seat or when there was no packing paper put around the painting before putting it in a cardboard box. As for the ornament, it couldn't have stood upright with where the break is. This could so easily have been resolved if Mike had taken responsibility and called me back when asked to (in writing) to resolve this. As it is I couldn't and won't recommend this company.

I came to leave a review after using these guys twice in the last 12 months and am a little stunned at the previous negative review. The owner of the company moved us the first time with someone else six months ago and it was absolutely flawless, not a mark on anything, knew we had a psychotic neighbour and was careful to avoid him. This time he came along with two other guys, we had paid for two, he had really bad sunburn on his back yet still helped out so we actually had 3 guys some of the time which no doubt made it faster. Both times they have been absolutely awesome, no damage, on time and so lovely. We will be in touch with them once our house is built for the next move too.

Absolute AAA+ service and duty of care! Mike and his team really went above and beyond to make our relocation from Melbourne to Brisbane brilliant - especially over the week of New Years. I cannot express my gratitude towards this company. Packing and moving removalist saved us after being stood up by the other removalist we booked last Saturday. We originally booked a different removalist but the removalist we originally booked failed to show and after waiting for hours the other company didnt even tell us they're not coming. We only found out they weren't coming after we called them looking for them.Being upset and desperate, i called packing and moving removalist. After hearing our story, the man i spoke to offered to move us on the same day. They even showed up 30 mins later after speaking to them on the phone. The two men who moved our furniture was very, professional, thorough and looked after our furnitures well. We had hardwood furnitures and they carefully packed and covered our furnitures making sure none of them got a single scratch. I highly recommend booking this company. They didnt mess around. Highly recommended! I have forgotten their names as we were all flustered thay day but thank you again for saving us and looking after our stuff.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Mike is very knowledgeable and quick on his feet to ensure everything is moved quickly and safely. Mike and Ben on the day were extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't recommend them enough!Well priced, great service and everything arrived in the best condition. Thanks guys!

Will not be recommending this company. Have just finished unpacking all the boxes and have found so many things missing. They never answer their phone.

Mike and the team are fantastic. Reliable, reasonably priced and friendly. Very efficient customer service and they go the extra mile to look after their clients. Have used them twice and I will keep doing so now I've found them. Highly recommend!

Terrible service! A day before moving date I get a call and was asked that I help the team pack and unpack as they are short staffed. Due to the late notice I had no other option as other companies were busy for a last minute booking. I was told 4 workers would turn up. 2 turned up and an hour later one went home as he was sick. So it was myself who’s 35weeks pregnant and my partner and 1 employee do do the house. We busted out buts also used our own cars and van to help. I asked at 3pm are you sure your team is going to help unpack at the end and the 1 team members helping said yes. We get to 5pm the owner rings and says sorry we can’t help you unpack at the other end. I explained I booked the entire service she wouldn’t have a bar of it and could not care less. We get to our new house my partner and 1 unpack . 2 guys turned up one was a back packer who saved the day the other did what he could and left .We paid the back packer extra ourselves to help us un pack so we had to pay extra for help as well as paying full price for the service we did not receive. I raised my concerns and the owner could not care less and has not done anything about it and has blatantly refused to.

Excellent service from start to finish. Lorraine in the office was profession, flexible and patient answering all my questions. The team that came to the house were kind, professional and excellent problem solvers getting bulky furniture into the house. Thanks so much!

Punctual, friendly, hard working & professional.I had Zane & Chris on the day. Would definitely recommend this company. No damage to my belongings. Happy customer.
