Busted a tyre nearby and stopped in to see these guys the next day. Super friendly and managed to organise me a new rim and front tyre on the same day. Being a P plater from Melbourne they were absolute life savers. Anyone passing through the birth heast if Victoria who needs some repairs should go here.

I arrived in Beechworth for a 2 day stay with 3 young children. The waterpump in the car was starting to fail. Andrew and Chantelle couldn't have been more helpful. Car was fixed that afternoon and they lent me a courtesy car! Bless them. I cannot praise them enough for the workmanship and friendly customer service.

We have taken our car to Highbridge Motors on 3 separate occasions; twice for a routine service and once for a RWC.They generally cost a good $50 - $100 more than competitors in the area. They don't seem to be willing to go the extra mile or tell you about useful details that they surely should have noticed on a routine service.Both times the services cost more than we were quoted. To be fair, when I broached this with them after the second service, they did take $50 off the bill to bring it back to the maximum end of the range they had originally told me.When getting our RWC completed, we found Highbridge Motors to have poor communication. Although telling us that they would call us when certain tasks were completed or when the part we were waiting for had come in, we found ourselves calling them to follow up several times when it had been half a day to a full day after they said they would contact us. Also they were not clear when it came to communicating pricing, leading to us having a bill that was $250 higher than expected, on top of an already over-priced RWC.If it wasn't for the fact that they were the only quickly available mechanics in the area, we wouldn't have gone to them for the RWC in the first place, but now that we have I am certain we will not be returning.I'd caution you to do your research and be *very clear* if you deal with them.

I had to call RACV because of a suspect coolant leak. We drove the car to highbridge on advice from RACV tech guy. The owner fitted us in for repairs to a coolant pipe the same day. He was very efficient and helpful allowing us to continue our round Aus road trip with minimal holdup. I’m very grateful for the prompt attention and recommend this company heartily. Graham
