First time visiting this place.Waited for more than 20 mins for 2 takeaway coffees where it wasn't particularly busy.Orders came in later were delivered first. No sign of explanation or apology. Not sure if it has anything to do with being the only Asian there .

The house this cafe is in was previously owned by my friends grandparents. We had a lovely time visiting for lunch. The staff were very friendly and the coffee was delicious!

To give this a 1 star is to nice!- the coffee I ordered originally while we waited for breakfast went to the wrong table, the customer returned it to the counter and then it was brought to our table. At this point it was cold. At the time I couldn’t really be bothered complaining.- the breakfast order took 50-60 minutes to be served after ordering. It was only after we asked when we could expect our breakfast was it followed up. Even after this the order was still incorrect.- while we were waiting the waitress that took the order sat down and ate a toasted sandwich that had been clearly made by the kitchen staff. During this time no one came and asked if we were waiting for an order.- I talked to the manager afterwards and all I got was yeah sorry in an attempt to appease me.

Had an amazing breakfast for the second time here, great service, love the ketchup with the bacon and eggs. I'm impressed with the choice of portion sizes as a normal serve is usually too large and the small size is perfect.Toast was perfection! Thankyou guys, we will definitely be back and telling everyone to go there

A little piece of Paradise!Escape your worries and enjoy a coffee, tea, smoothie at the Market St Cafe. Situated overlooking beautiful Lake Macquarie adjacent to Wangi Workers Club. Yummy coffee and cake and the service is great. We even had a wonderful guitarist to serenade us! Also Wheelchair friendly.
