This business doesn't care unless it's a simple fix. Tells me he'll pass on a simple job because he's retiring? Forget this place. I knew more about my PC issues than this clown did, and he runs a shop? Take your business elsewhere.Update: a simple BIOS flash was all that was needed, took it to Joe at Hypernet and he had it sorted by the next day (because he knows what he's doing) at a VERY reasonable price. Imagine getting mad at a bad review! If you don't intend on taking any new customers, maybe close your shop (or go back to fixing Commodore 64s).

My laptop would not bootup (14 year old Acer!) The service from PC Works was as stated; fast and friendly. They went the extra mile and made sure my data was recovered to a portable hard drive and also got my laptop working again. Very happy! I thought it time to buy a new laptop though, haha.

Rick at PC Works was absolutely amazing, totally rebuilt my daughters computer so now it can be used for gaming and school work. I don't know what we would have done if I hadn't got in contact with him. He really helped us after a different person sold me an unsuitable and old machine. Now we have a top system for a very affordable price. Happy to have him as our regular computer guy. Local, Affordable and Reliable!Thanks Rick

Whenever I have had serious or minor problems over the past 5 years with the PC or laptop Rick is top of the list as the fix it guy for the old PC, or give me sound advice on replacement or upgrade.Similar to everyone in business these days we are all time poor and communication down time is a killer so last week when my laptop died for no reason just 1 month outside of warranty Rick was able to fix it the same day!I don’t usually write reviews but I can highly recommend PC Works and Rick’s problem solving to save the day (more than once).

Rick was able to find out the mistakes i had made in the process of building my own pc and provided absolute professionalism in fixing those mistakes.he also built my pc for me once i had replaced the damaged parts all for a great price.also is a funny bloke whose fun to have a chat with.

I travel for work to a lot of Asian, African and Middle Eastern countries. I often come back with computer viruses other ‘nasties’ Rick provides one stop service for all ills, keeps me informed and really knows what he is doing. Many of my work requirements are time sensitive. I also carry my precious family photos and personal files, which must be kept secure. Rick’s my go-to guy for any laptop, software and security problems; large or small. I trust him and he always gets it done. Victor

Rick has consistently and expertly fixed any/every issue I have had with my different PCs over the years. He will treat you with respect, not talk down to you, or make you feel like you should know more about computers, or make out it's your fault (even if it is!).He will not let any problem beat him, even if you've taken your PC back home, he will still try and figure out how to fix it, and let you know a solution.

Responsive, knowledgeable, efficient and at least for me - local. Resolved my issue, extracting data of an old computer, which it thought I'd never see again. Also good value for money. Would highly recommend!
