Merredin Olympic Motel

Room was very old and dirty.Staff were not interested when I told them.Had no choice as the town was booked out.Would never stay there again, not recommend

Me and my boyfriend got into a major car accident. The car was all we had carrying our life in it. And we urgently needed somewhere to stay. Blake, was a legend he gave us the room for cheap for two nights service was amazing both him and his dad were great blokes to us. The room was lovely had a heater to keep us warm from the cold warm shower and neatly done bed and a tv. The room brought us comfort during our near death experience and welcomed us into there town. We will not forget the beautiful town of Merredin due to the act of kindness and beautiful space they gave us straight away highly recommend if your passing through this town, great place to stay and extraordinary service, the room has all the essentials we needed to live for the 2 nights. Give this place a try you won’t regret it!!

At the outside it looks Rough.( not for me)But. Rooms seem to be clean small area to have a coffee. But shower has no curtain or screen.The TV is not working.Good Food from the BP next Door.Deserve 4 stars with a +

Lights in bathroom not working shower no pressure. You get more water out of a 600ml bottle of water with 1 hole in lid . Tried to ring reception 5 times but no answer.

Had Queen room at $130. Room was very tired. Shower only lukewarm. Heater only moderately warm even when set to 30°C. Bathroom/shower floors needed a good scrub around edges. On positive side, fridge was nice and cold and plenty of milk provides.

Weirdest joint ever. Had to break in to the 2nd bedroom as door was stuffed. Cooking equipment was handy for our indoor BBQ.

Conveniently located on Great Eastern Hway next door to BP service station a great little over night stop over. On arrival first impression on the outside say rundown.. however the rooms although with old with furnishings and decor that could do with an update are pleasently clean and comfortable. A split system aircon that ensured we were warm.. The rooms also have a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The reception was unattended on arrival but a contact number was clearly posted on the door, when called was answered quickly and politely with directions to room number given.. over all I'd stay again..

This place is dirty, huge cobwebs in the bathroom, no shower curtains so the bathroom floor gets soaked. No broom or dust pan to sweep the already dirty floor before you check in, check the dishes for spoiled food before you contemplate eating off of them, don't forget to checkout the kettle for thick black mold before having a cuppa. Sad that some people just don't give a s#%t about the business they run nor the people that unfortunately have to stay here.

Great little motel, coworkers & I stayed 1 month for work and had everything we needed for our extended stay. Meals just next door at the service station was very convenient. air con did stop working but came back the next day and it was a brand new one. Our company will be back in the new year.

Rooms are no Hilton.Country town quality.Out company has now put this at the top of our list for Merredin accommodation.We stayed in the far back rooms, entrance from BP.Room was very spacious and perfect for doing work out off.Recommend these rooms for any one need space and a desk.Again, this is our number 1 pick for Merredin.Price was fair.Staff friendly.Some traffic noise from highway, but not too bad.
