My new prescription glasses are on order and expected to be shipped in, in around 10 days. I brought my glasses with a broken frame in for Varn to have a look not expecting miracles. He immediately reassured me that it was fixable! As soon as Varn asked me to clean my glasses with Windex, I knew I was in good hands :). He did a fab job all while I waited in the shop and reasonably priced repair too!

the owner is so nice and the service is more than great. It took him 2 mins to fix my bracelet and it looks like a new one. Highly recommend :)

Check the detail and ask questions. $200 to resize a wedding band, fix a crack and polish - to be done within the week. Was asked to pay in full upfront to cover materials (when was the last time your plumber or mechanic asked for that?) no word for over a week, no answer to calls so had to visit and ask what was going on. Helper said jeweller was sick apparently but took another few days before I got it back resized, polished but no crack fix. Move on....

Varn is a diligent and reliable professional that gives expert advice at a reasonable price. To put it another way, he’s earnest guy that knows his stuff. If you need to consult with someone about precious metals or jewellery, there’s no one I recommend more highly.

I walked in here to get the clasp of my necklace replaced, expected a $50 charge for a new one. Instead, in 10 seconds using a pliers he fixed the clasp and told me to go by myself a nice lunch instead of paying! Amazing service, will be returning for any future issues!

I would highly recommend The Jeweller & Watchmaker Service Centre. I lost a diamond on my favourite ring and Varn did an amazing job at fixing it. Varn was friendly and efficient. He managed to make my ring look brand new again! I will definitely be going back

It cost $70 to repair and resize my bracelet which was admittedly more than I was expecting (especially for a job that took 10 minutes) but the bracelet is special to me and I didn't feel like haggling prices or trying to find somewhere cheaper. Overall, the job was done on the spot so I didn't have to fuss about coming back to collect it and my bracelet was fixed and resized like new so I'm pleased with the outcome. The lady that greeted me at the counter was welcoming.

Expert advice and old fashioned excellent customer service - this place gets my highest recommendation. I needed a silver bracelet repaired, and after looking at it, Varn told me how to do it myself as it was straight forward and would be a fraction of the price. He didn't even charge for this brilliant advice - he said we're old school here". Go see this legend next time you need something shiny fixed."

I was visiting from overseas for a wedding and needed to get my cufflinks customized. I went to four…FOUR jewelers in the Dymocks building and none of them were able to to do my customization (except for one, and the prices were ridiculous) UNTIL I got to The Jeweller and Watchmaker Repair. Varn took one look at my design and said he can do it on the spot for a fraction of the cost . I asked him how he was able to do it and was slightly concerned considering no other jeweler could accomplish it— nonetheless, right on the spot — so…considering I was the last customer of the day, he let me watch the process. Absolute fantastic technology providing unmatched detail (I learned a lot actually.) I am very grateful for the service, very satisfied with the product, impressed with the cost, and the opportunity to watch the process was something I will never forget!
