Fowlers Bay Caravan Park
What a shame. Fowlers bay the town and surrounds is simply stunning, amazing sand dunes and beautiful jetty but the caravan park desperately needs some love and a good clean. Lady that checked us in was lovely and very helpful but just needs some tlc.

For an of the beaten track this place was pretty good , it was a tight squeeze for a bigger van like ours but we got in without any real problems, quiet, friendly , I would certainly go back there again

Old style family type beach caravan park, but surrounded by natural wonders. Climb the sand dunes and imagine the town before the sand encroached. Buy a coffee from Robyn in the shop and sit on the deck and ponder......it'll be worth it!

Fowlers Bay is great but the park and the owners? attitude both need quite a bit of improvement. Not much more than a grunt on check in, showers and toilets dirty with no soap or paper towel would not recommend.

Great place in a fantastic spot not for from the harbor and just over the sand dunes from the beach . An older park but has everything needed for a great stay . A short walk from a Cafe general store which is also the park office .

I cannot believe the positive, misleading comments about this caravan park. Base on the reviews my husband and I booked for three nights and quickly realized our mistake. We were crammed in behind a fence between a car and some rain water tanks. We ate at the only available food outlet and although the fish and chips were fine, the portions were quite small for the price. This place has very little to offer and we are leaving after one night. In spite of the owner's response to our review, we at no time complained to them about our lack of space and they did not offer to move us or offer a refund. They must have been confusing us with someone else because we left quite quietly without complaining.

Well on our arrival at the park, we booked in and said there were 2 more people coming the next day later in the afternoon, due to a truck roll over they were diverted and arrived after closing time. There was no bedding or towels provided for them so they stayed in their rooftop tent but still intended to pay for that night and 3 others. Next morning Simon came banging on our cabin with a mouth full of abuse about ripping him off. He also ripped the power cord out of their fridge. When our guests went to pay, the owner had already removed the money from our account. We cancelled the card so other couldn't be removed. Our friends went to a lovely campsite 1k up the road and became our visitors, parking on the road. So the next day they noticed their passenger door had been keyed down to the metal. Luckily his son is a panel beater so that won't cost them. The park is a gravel pit. Only green grass is over the sewage pit and the stench from the fish cleaning area is unbelievable. If your a caravanner with your own facilities looking for an overnight to and from somewhere there's a campsite 1k up the road at $10.00 per night so friendly great views. I have never met such a rude person.

Fowlers Bay has a lot of potential and we would love to be there in good weather. Van Park is tidy with small amenities but hot water is good. You are camping on sand so don't expect luxury but sites are large. The van park generates its own water and electricity which is fantastic for such a remote spot.We had very strong winds and rain so only spent 1 night here. Jetty looked awesome as did the coffee shop at the kiosk. Staff were lovely. No petrol in town and shop has the basics and its not too far to Penong. The camp kitchen is pretty good with big BBQ's, fireplace and sinks etc.
