Loved the mixed plate and the veggie mix plate. The fried cauliflower is so good and the little lamb sausages have a great herby flavour. Those fries were excellent too. They're seasoned with some kind of umami salty flavouring.The courtyard is the best place to sit when there is some sun available. Such a lovely place to get some afternoon sun.

I haven’t been so surprised in a very long time. It looked promising from the start, but turned out to be the most delicious chicken pocket I’ve ever had! Definitely will be back & perhaps become slightly addicted :-)

I absolutely love this place. Been here many times on an afternoon or evening and it's consistently good. It's always packed on Friday and Saturday evenings, but rightly so. Falafels are always freshly fried and brilliant. I always get their vegetarian plate. If I'm feeling like a greedy boy, I add a cauli pocket too. Wash it down with some tea and you're set. If it's busy, just grab a pocket and squat on the milk crates in the laneway. You won't want to miss this place.

A definite must visit ( and then multiple visits after that). Mouth watering food, the Hawawshi was amazing - crispy pastry filled with juicy lamb mince, the Fattah was equally on point with homely flavours. LOVED IT

Had a great lunch with my mates here on a Sunday. The food was great and the service was superb. By the way, their lamb and taro stew is very good! The tables are a bit small outdoors, but it was no problem. Definitely recommend this place!

We went here looking at the google reviews thinking it would be good but we were in for disappointment. The food came out cold. Minced-lamb sausage was charred dry and falafel was cold.To top it all off, their service was something. The waitstaff spilled water on the menu and there was no acknowledgement of it at all. They picked up our plates before we could say we were done and told us to leave in 10 mins.For the price I paid, I would have liked a little better food and hospitality.

Really good place for authentic Egyptian food. Food was excellent and staff was really friendly. Had the Lamb Fattah which was excellent and tasty. Then Knafeh to finish. Plus black coffee is a must.

Came in a large group and they were pretty accommodating being able to fit us all at the back. The service here was nice but they forgot my drink and had it served when we almost finished. It would’ve been nice to have in between the dishes as it almost acted like a palate cleanser. The food here was pretty good. Something different to what you normally would find and would recommend in you’re keen for a new experience.
