I recently had the very great pleasure of dealing with Property Manager Michael Zentveld.Not only did Michael help me to secure a rental in a very tough market, he did it with incredible professionalism - he maintained a very positive attitude, had impeccable client management skills and anything he said he would do, he did.I could not have asked for better service from Michael: he is an absolute credit to his company and I have absolutely no hesitation on recommending Michael or his company, Elders Real Estate.

Good place to buy property but hard to get a rental because of housing crisis

The house was rented to us and had several televisions of which the TV in the bedroom we chose had no remote and was struck on no volume with subtitles. The 2 DVD players in the lounge had 240 plugs but no leads to the TV. When I approached the agent, Lisa, I think at Elders she contacted the owner. The reply being that the owner would reimburse me to go down the road buy some leads and set up the system for him. This is the service you get from this agency and owner, and a big tarrif and deposit had to be payed up front.

Recently we booked a 10 day stay over Christmas in a holiday home on the Esplanade. Besides the house being absolutely amazing, and gorgeous and much much better than we imagined, our experience with the team at Elders has been second to none in the area. They were helpful, pleasant to deal with and their communication was more than I could have imagined. Thank you for making this process so positive for us! We really appreciate it!

We bought a home with Elders (John was our agent). He did not try to sell us any house and bothering with multiple questions or calling when no needed. He gave us advice (which it was very important for us, due we are from Spain and we did not know very well about Australian houses and process). He was very friendly, always answering the phone when we call him and thanks to him we were able to get our house before Christmas (our solicitor did not a good job). Real state staff also completed the paperwork without issues (as Spanish we have 2 family names and very weird names, most of the time we have problems with paperwork due to it). I highly recommend Elders and in special John.

DO NOT BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH THESE PEOPLE. I booked the same apartment on two different platforms and BOTH of them were cancelled! I later found out that Elders don’t even manage the property any more and yet they continued to advertise it. First was cancelled straight away and I got a refund within a few days. The 2nd one, I asked questions about to which I had no reply for 5 days. Then I get a message to say the booking has been cancelled. No one replied to my queries, I was given attitude when enquiring about my refund and total dishonesty for a week. Absolutely useless. My holiday was supposed to be in 4 weeks and now there is next to nothing left available.

Had some dealings with a salesman j wood, found him to be extremely honest and that was a breath of fresh air. He then asked the rental team to give advice and do some rental appraisals. I cant fault the team down there they were very helpful and I would recommend to anyone.

My partner and I have been treated with absolute kindness and consideration. To the rental team at Hervey bay thank you so much especially to Hayley and particularly to Michael who went above and beyond to help communicate on behalf of us. We are so grateful!Michael ensured our needs and wants were always met during the process. Unfortunately we haven't been able to rent from them again due to the limited availability but if I could I would. Highly recommend anyone looking to rent to look here first as they will always answer calls and emails and go above their job description.Thank you so so much Michael and team!
