Phone Repair Guy - Mooroolbark

Rubbish repair service. My Screen of Huawei P30 was damaged because of splashing water. The repair guy’s wife was in the WeChat buying group to prompt their phone repair business, so I asked him to replace the screen. The cost was $280, the replaced screen was a second hand screen and on the third day when I fetched the phone, there was something wrong with the new screen. The phone could operate automatically by itself. I also took the video shown to the guy and told him. He admitted the new screen was broken and but he didn’t have another screen to replace it and what I only could do was to wait for his new screen arrival. During the waiting period, my son stepped on the screen and made a crack on it. I told the guy ,and he refused to replace the broken screen. I didn’t want to waste time to argue with him as I had bought another phone. Just yesterday My husband needed a temporary backup phone, I found the P30, and the screen was totally black screen and had to find another guy to repair it, just $150, and the screen is original product. The current guy told me this repair guy used the secondhand screen and used my old battery.Just see the Google review, it is interesting to find that he did good service for local people and used second hand products to cheat his compatriot. Really disgusting.

I came here to have my iPad screen repaired and was pleased with the service. The only small negatives I can give are that there was some evidence of glue or some kind of residue along the seam of the iPad (I surmise where it was removed and replaced). The other that it took over a day and a half, I wasn't in a rush but it's more than I've heard and experienced in the past. I may have gotten unlucky and just visited at a particularly busy time.Overall, the owner was friendly and efficient, and I was glad to be able to have my repair done at a place that was close to home for a reasonable price, instead of having to travel so far like in the past.

My iPad Air 3 wouldn't turn out, after randomly pruple screening. Took it to the Apple Store, where they did their diagnostics and was told that the iPad cannot be fixed and will never on, and was encouraged to buy a new iPad. Decided to take it to the Phone Repair Guy, within a day he got back to me with a possible issue and fix, and reassured that the 'Non Fix, No Fee' policy. He fixed the issue and saved me hundreds of dollars.

Was able to repair my laptop for half the price compared to other places I had gotten quotes from, very friendly as well.Also lmao at the dude who has a review calling Mooroolbark a small community"

Offered me a $129 fix for my iPhone X screen, finished in 45 minutes. Another place said they would do it for $320 or $180 (not fully fixed).

Because it is tucked in the laneway near Coles Supermarket, this mobile phone repair shop could be easy to miss.I have had occasions to take my [initial] iPhone 7 (and lately my upgraded iPhone 14) to the shop for their attention. For both 'fixes', I was very pleased with the quality of work done, time taken, and the reasonable charges.Having previously taken my iPhones to Chirnside Park for attention over the years, I find I am now a somewhat quiet champion for this [to me!] 'relatively' new business. So much so that when one of my daughter's had issues with her iPhone, I recommended she take it to this shop. She was not disappointed.If"

i went here to get my phone repaired after water damage , my phone is functioning and my screen was also repaired for a good price. i would recommend this place to anyone.

Charged $380 to repair my pixel 5. It was fine right after, but after a few weeks both the regular speaker and the loudspeaker started not working properly. This was minor at first but deteriorated over the next few weeks to be unusable (heavy distortion). The guy said we just replaced the screen and we cannot take responsibility for the speakers or anything else. Quoted another $400 to fix it again. The phone was used carefully since the repair and has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Lesson learnt - next time just save your money and buy a new phone. Brand new one would have cost only $700
