Dr Hinton, while understanding and sympathetic to your needs, is also straightforward and honest with you, and knows what he's doing.

As a mental health facility you’d expect more than what I had received.This practice did not call to tell me they were full and not accepting clients and to look elsewhere leaving me thinking they are yet to call with an appt (admitted they had seen my referral too and it was popped aside to look at later) you may think that’s not a big deal BUT the other places recommended and refured did call and apologise / explain their books.It was also not a nice call with the receptionist telling me “They don’t have to tell people they are full and not accepting, people should just know or read their website” “I doubt you’d get in anywhere everywhere Is At least a 2 or more year wait” Also “psych’s are expensive do you know”Someone who’s seeking help and isn’t mentally doing fantastic really doesn’t need that sort of stuff said. It does make you give up hope / scream that the mental health system truly is failing people.
