Steak was very tender, but there was a lot of fat in the rib fillet. My steak was quite thick, my husband's was quite thin, his was also fatty. I didn't realise you have to pay for the sauce with your steak. Most places, naturally, it comes with the steak meal. Had to ask where the curly fries were for the kids meals. They brought out a very small bowl for the kids to share, so they were unimpressed with that. The plates were also dirty (greasy leftovers and fingerprints on them), which I didn't notice til after the meal was eaten. The dirty plate was probably the most unpleasant. Overall it was an average very expensive dinner. Probably won't be back. I wish I could say better things

My Mumma and I went there tonight and the food was beautiful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and had great customer service skills. Considering they've only been open for 2 days (after closing for quite a while because of flooding) the staff were doing a good job.At first I thought it was a tiny bit pricey, but my meal was massive and changed my opinion pretty quickly lol.My only minor complaint is that it seemed to be pretty hot in the dining room, but that also might of been because it was storming and it was quite humid.Overall we had a great time :)

OMG the steak was honestly the best I've ever had and that's saying something. They don't lie when they say that they do the best steaks. The new renovations look great too. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A really enjoyable night out for my birthday dinner.

My family and I had lunch there today, I was a bit skeptical as my last experience at Hogs breath a few years ago was terrible. But I must say how happy I was that we chose to try it again, the steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were delicious and the staff were fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful service, my family will definitely be coming back.

The staff were really lovely, and the refurb look's pretty good after the flood, but the food is really overpriced and as far as steakhouses go, this would be at the bottom of the list. I bought a reef and beef steak that ended up costing $63 for the medium rare traditional cut that was probably about 250grams of bland (but very tender) meat with three prawns and some dodgy calamari topped with the worst garlic butter sauce I've ever tasted. I prefer steaks with a char to it's surface, infused with that smoky BBQ flavour and Hogs Breath are known for their 18-hour(?) cooking technique, which I'm not a fan of. I only went as it was a family dinner party, but should have ordered a burger and fries.Anyway, the staff were really lovely.

Not as good as some of the other hogs breath I been to. Ordered med rare steak and got a well done. Service was great but def room for improvement. Atmosphere could be made a little more lively with music too.

Went to dinner with my partner. It was good although it was super busy and there was only 2 staff really working and doing there jobs probably. Ann was absolutely amazing, one of the best services I’ve ever had. Kind, smiling, energetic, enthusiastic, polite.

Huge thank you to Hog's Breath Ipswich - took our daughter there for birthday dinner (she has a disability) Staff were fantastic, food was great, along with the service. Big thank you especially to Katelyn who looked after us and organised a surprise happy birthday serenade and a sundae for our daughter - She had eyes like dinner plates when they came out singing - Thank you all again! This business has suffered a lot over the last 5 years with local flooding and Covid.It used to be one of my favourite places.Unfortunately with the prices they are charging ,other restaurants in Ipswich are much more enticing.I can't fault the service,my waitress was great..However,I find it quite overpriced.Perhaps they could bring back the Lunchtime specials.They were smaller meals and priced accordingly.

I have not been here for years and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service and great meals. Its layout had changed considerably since my last time, but it still has the wonderful Hogs Breath atmosphere.
