My six children have had great experiences at Geelong Baptist College - teachers are easy to approach for parents and students, teachers are SUPER committed to your children achieving their goals. My eldest son got his first preference after graduating in 2015. There are lots of opportunities for students there, feels like one big happy family. I smile to myself in the mornings when I see year 7's and year 12's shooting basketballs together before school.

This is one of the WORST schools I've ever been to the bullying policy is so bad they tell you to solve it yourself even if your getting physically hurt by othersOverall this school I've had a terrible experience here!!!

After about 8 months of constant bullying, I’ve come to a stage to voice my concerns and opinions. Unfortunately the school is not taking bullying seriously at all, I feel I’m not the only parent feeling like this.My child is being bullied, hurt, pushed around, picked on, name called, personal items taken of them and thrown in bin, after we complain to the school, my child is in an even worse situation because his ( snitching) the principals are aware of this. The only assistance we got was they won’t make it out my child snitched. How far does this go?I’ve heard of other parents going through the same situations, their children being suicidal etc. again the school not taking complaints seriously. Please reach out if you are facing similar issues. This must stop

Unfortunately I'm going to have to agree with the other comment regarding the way in which bullying is dealt with - and yes it is prevalent at this school. I just found out that an actual teacher told my son it was innapropriate to get his parent involved because he is now 18. The teacher told him this is how you end up losing friends. This teacher shouldn't have even known about the incident or that I had contacted the school. To have to now go through this on top of everything else is heartbreaking for both of us and I want others to know in case they experience something similar and feel as though they can't speak up. The more people that say something the better the chances this doesn't happen to the next child.
