Absolute gem in the area - the rooms are nice and clean with ensuite bathroom and the house is absolutely charming! Almost feels like a step in the past.Rates are very affordable and the owners are amazing hosts. And a continental breakfast is included with a variety of things.Looking forward to my next stay here!

We had a fantastic time at The George. The rooms were lovely and we had fun in the garden with our kids having a soft toy wedding near the little pond with a bridge. Nice range of things for breakfast and everything clean and calming. Definitely what I needed. Hope to return!

Incredibly rude owners with the worst customer service, they have a package advertised on their website that includes complimentary items, but they will try to charge you for those complimentary" inclusions anyway if you don't question it

We had the same experience as Radhika and Stephen. We booked 2 nights for 2 rooms for 1 July 2021 which was the only option offered to us by the owner to pre pay with no cancellation within 14 days. But then Greater Sydney including Blue Mountains went into lockdown, so we had to cancel. They gave us a credit subject to booking before 31 August 2021. However the lockdown continued until October 2021, and the has been closed from July 2021 until mid February 2022. They now refuse to honour the credit, even though they were not able to fulfil the conditions of the credit as they were closed. Thats over $800 down the drain.

Outstanding experience, a hidden gem that I am probably doing myself a disservice by rating highly. The hosts are very welcoming and the rooms have old-world elegance not often seen. Continental breakfast was a bonus and well worth the experience. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The George Boutique Hotel was magnificent. We adored our stay there and were thoroughly impressed by the beautiful rooms, facilities, and of course, the welcoming hosts. The library was gorgeous, with a fireplace, comfy armchairs, and a chess board - perfect for our Saturday night in due to the atrocious weather! Some lovely touches such as the ambient music, the complimentary port and chocolate in the library, and the well serviced breakfast really enhanced the stay and made it extra special.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy an exceptional night at the Blue Jax. We had our wedding dinner in the main dining area and it was just beautiful. The food was amazing, even the fussiest eater at the table enjoyed it, the drinks were amazing, and the service was beyond our expectations. We had such a beautiful night and every person there enjoyed their evening. It was made so special by Vicki and all of her planning. Was a beautiful place to have a private, intimate dinner and would highly recommend. Will definitely revisit when in the mountains next.

A charming hotel with a homely feel. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. A sunroom and library to read and relax. I went for a stroll through the gardens. Geoff and Vicki are wonderful hosts.

This is a historical hotel from 1890 which was built as a guest house at that time. The rooms have been renovated for today's amenities, but still maintaining the ambiance of yesteryear. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. A very friendly, relaxing place to stay. A big thank you to Vicky for giving us a little history, what it took to bring the cottage to its restored condition and making us feel at home. The perfect ending to our stay: a tranquil and attentive breakfast in the morning before we headed off. Thanks again!
