Really great Museum to understand the Coal mining industry. The Cafe there serves great food and friendly service. Try the bragline burger, one of the biggest burgers I've ever seen. The best ice Coffee ever.

Enjoyed hearing about the coal industry once again with some informative films. Took an hour or so to see what was of interest then on for a coffee and a scone at the cafe.

The coal display is EXCELLENT! Best ever!The timeline from 300 million years ago to 2008 is INCREDIBLE.... A MUST SEE for EVERYONE! Unbelievably amazing!

I learned so much from this place. I love these places as they tell me so much about the area. Presented very well with awesome displays. A must see for $5. And a bonus of the lovely craft shop attached with locally hand made gems.
