Honestly doesn't even deserve 1 star. Got my nails done on Wednesday and asked for a FRESH set of black matte, they refused as they wanted to paint over my acrylics I already had on. The filing job was absolutely wonky and not even 24hrs later the nail polish was bubbling. I went back on Thursday for them to fix, which they did. Now come Friday night and another nail has started to bubble and chip. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Their service was very terrible, a yellow hair lady served me. I think the owner have to do something to keep the business, I will never come back again. The staff chose to refuse or deny the problem when we pointed it out, they're destroying this store. I asked her to cut my nails a little, and she just swung them around and told me to do it myself. During the service, two staffs kept chatting and laughing, and we could even hear that they were talking about the guests, and their tone was very disrespectful. We asked for a French manicure but the French manicure lines were crooked and not smooth and total different from the picture I asked, and when we asked for improvements she said it would cost extra. I asked for the price of the picture when I entered the store, but each staff offered a different price and always had a reason to add more money on the way to service, even if our request was exactly what was shown on the picture at the beginning. When I finished, I found that it was still sealed with something dirty! There are many nail salons in garden city, so this one is not recommended to waste your money and spoil your mood for the day!!!(first picture is my nail they did and second picture is the one I wanted and showed them in the beginning)

I am another who should have read the reviews prior to attending. Unfortunately my pedicure is terrible, the paint is thick on one foot and missing on the other. I was also changed more than I’ve paid anywhere else and was told that my pedicure was more than what was on the price list because I had gel removed - most places when you get a gel pedicure don’t charge you for removal of the gel you have on. Would not recommend attending this store.

I wish I saw the reviews before!If you want to have a relaxing time and not leave the place with a bleeding finger, do NOT go there!I can not believe how rude they are and how they treat their customers.

Horrible experience. Rudest staff i have ever met. They were laughing and complaining about us all the time. She made me feel very uncomfortable… I wouldn’t recommend this shop

Had the worst experience. I wish I checked their reviews before going in. They told me there wasn't a wait at all but ended up waiting 20min with my foot in the water bath then I asked for time check and if its long I'd like to leave. Someone then decided to come straight away and rushed through and did my nails in 10mins. Didn't check if the color was right or not and if the number of coats was ok.I ended up with nails that look horribly done.

I’ve been doing my nails in this shop since it open for years since they have my fav colour range and the owner was very friendly. Today i was surprised they just change the owner couple of weeks ago, which doesn’t bother me too much. So I choose manicure and pedicure with gel nail polish. Just want to feel to service and technique of new staff. I chose one of my regular colour for nails. After 2 coats, it was far too light on nails. Then more than 3 staffs and manager came to me say this is the colour you want and we’re hesitated to compare it with the colour book which I chose from. The attitude was so rude and made me very embarrassed in public. But I do know what the right colour and how many coats they should do to achieve it. The manager was very impolitely pointing at me and yelled at one her staffs with better English to deal with me. Luckily that girl came over and fixed the colour explained that that was the old colour, this is the new colour, that’s colour book is on the white base which is different to the final colour on nails, etc. I told her I understood whatever you said, but I used to have this colour before, I know exactly what colour it should be. I just want to get the same colour as the colour book. She successfully made it and apologised to me multiple times. There are other things I don’t even want to rethink about it. After checkout, I approached to the manager and said, this is the right colour I want. She doesn’t even look at me and said you talk to her! Pointing to the first staff who didn’t apply correctly. I said, no I just want to talk to you. And she said you can find her next time. Pointing to the lady who fix the my colour. I said, the whole situation is ridiculous, I’m not sure whether I will be back next time. Then she said, it’s up to you! I felt she was so rude and unacceptable. So I left the store and I don’t want to go back anymore. This whole experience was too bad to think about it.

Pedicure gel service - $50. Most places this includes a massage, exfoliation, the heel cheese grater thing, cuticle oil - I recieved none of this. She slapped on a cream for a total of 2 seconds then got to painting my nails straight away, was a total of 15 minutes. Wouldn’t go there again.

I was greatly disappointed and completely not satisfied with the service I received today at Professional Garden City, Level 1.I completely understand that the final result can never be 100% identical with the photo of the design I showed to the nail artist but it is completely reasonable for a customer to expect some advice from the nail stylist, e.g. what is the nail colour, can they come up with some other design if they cant do the same, or maybe just say “sorry, we can’t do this” (at least some professional advice that could be expected from a nail artist who works in a nail shop). Today, I showed a photograph of the design I would like to do to the store manager (non-english speaker), she had a big smile in her face and keep nodding her head and telling me “yes yes yes we can do this” and then guide me to a spot to sit and wait for a nail artist. When a nail artist came, I again showed the same photograph of the design I would like to do today to the nail artist, the nail artist then passed me 4-5 books of nail colour sample and asked me to pick from there. I was so confused and then I asked her “which colour do you think I should choose? Which colour is the closest one to the photo?” or words to the effect, she hardly understood what I said and randomly pointed to a pale pink base colour. She then continued to ask me to pick a “glitter”. I then said to her “I am not sure which one I should pick and I again showed her the photo but she didn’t give me any advice and only waited for me to pick a “glitter”. She was not English-competent and I find it so difficult to communicate with her. This is getting nowhere so I picked a champagne golf “glitter” and I just let her do what she like. I was so unhappy with the result. I never expect it to be 100% identical but you can see from the photo
