Cockatoo Family Medical Practice
Dr. Yapa is knowledgeable and exceptionally talented. He’s kind and cares for his patients. I’ve been going to where ever he works in the past 5 years as it’s literally impossible to find a replacement for him. I had really bad experiences with a few other GPs, but Dr Yapa has never disappointed me. When you talk to him for a couple of minutes, about 50% of your issues are already resolved and you start to feel better! Highly recommend him. I must also mention about the staff at this practice - they are the friendliest and the best!

Dr Yapa was very thorough and friendly. He has a kind and gentle manner which made me feel very comfortable seeing him for the first time. He was generous with his time, he didn’t rush, and allowed me to ask lots of questions. It’s nice to have a friendly and experienced GP back in town.

Staff& Dr. Yapa very friendly and polite. Walking in the clinic smiling staff. Nothing was too hard.Dr Yapa Not judgmental Dr. Or dismissive of my complain. Also never I made an appointment and it was 5 minutes and I was out of the doors. Dr Aruna is very kind, informative and professional. We felt that we were very well looked after. He took his time to assess our baby and talked us through what was happening and the recommendations. He is very much knowledgeable and went above and beyond with his service. We highly recommend him and his clinic.

Very warm and welcoming medical centre. Doctor examines thoroughly before prescribing any medicine and he explains the condition very well. He gives valuable advice regarding health. It is clean, resourceful and child friendly. Highly recommend.

The staff got me in to see Dr Yapa last minute on a Saturday which I was grateful for as I required antibiotics. I found Dr Yapa to be very thorough and tentative. Overall a very pleasant experience.
