I found talking hens were excellent. They assisted me to adding more browns to my coop. Assisted me with information to mingle new hens to existing flock. I set up new enclosure within large chook area. Very informative and very pleasant to talk to.

Bought two delightful girls from here several months ago. They are happy healthy chooks that lay an egg a day every day bar 3 since we got them. We have two cats and they all took no time in getting along. The feed I buy at Jason’s is exceptional quality and well priced. The ladies at my work say mine are the best eggs they’ve ever tasted. It’s the happy chooks and the good feed. Love this little place.

We had a wonderful experience at Talking Hens, a late visit on a Sunday and the team couldn't have been more obliging. So helpful & patient letting the children choose and name their own chickens. A one stop shop with all provisions required, giving us all helpful information to ensure the hens are well looked after. The hens are super friendly & comfortable in their new environment. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for backyard chickens.

Our girls from Talking Hens are fantastic! Great layers and so friendly! The team at Talking Hens are great to deal with - really friendly and helpful. And our girls love the feed, so much so that they stopped laying when we tried to mix a cheaper feed through. We learnt that lesson very quickly! Highly recommend!

I attended your family fun day today in the hope of a fun country visit with your “happy hens” only to be met with week old live chicks being sold in chicken Mac nugget size boxes and the putrid stench of your factory style barn stuffed full with frantic hens.Disgraceful lack of ventilation , these poor birds clambering for space in total darkness. At least your bright yellow sign signaling “bio security” was correct, a far cry from the peaceful roaming depicted on your Facebook page” Very misleading to market yourselves as ethical when cruelty is at the core of your business.

Healthy happy chickens!! All three of my girls lay eggs the day we got them! They are all so well behaved, friendly and healthy. You can tell they were raised with love! Cannot recommend Talking Hens enough, especially for first time chicken parents.

The experience was enlightening after having backyard chickens for 5-7 years and not getting things right for my chooks! Amazing insights into what is best for chickens and how keep them happy and healthy. Bedding, nesting, food and health care - great people, great care and attention - in-house product, great hens and excellent facility!Looking forward to many years of dealing with the team!
