Nothing like a friendly greeting when ordering your Merlo coffee, and choice of yummy food. Always a favourite for the locals, just the thing for Saturday brunch, or the start of your working day. Plenty to choose from with excellent customer service, it really works. Being so close to the local Woolies, you can do your shopping then grab a cuppa or grab one before stepping in the door. Hot pies, sausage rolls, toasted sandwiches, cakes, slices, rolls, and so much more. You have got to come and enjoy.

Pretty disappointed with the service this morning. I ordered 3x Bahn Mis and only after they toasted them did I realise they were all the wrong flavour, also got my drink order wrong, I did not saying anything at the time as there was more than 8 people waiting behind me with only one young girl serving. There were 2 more people out back that did not assist despite them coming to front of house and seeing how busy it was. The server was nice and doing her best, only fair she gets assistance when needed, also avoids incorrect orders

Croissants used to be nice real croissants that were delicious. They have just swapped them out for garbage factory croissants that are not real croissants.Spinach and feta roll wasnt cooked enough and the dough was mostly uncooked. Every experience is getting worse

While this place has great food, the service can be very slow, especially when the only server is also making coffees. I only go here when I leave plenty of time to wait, which is a shame because they do have some rather special treats. I was a little disjointed recently. However, when I paid quite a bit for two prawn rice rolls only to find that the three prawns I thought I could see in each role were actually cut in half length-wise and were in fact only one and half prawns. Yeah, my heart dropped a little.

Pie is very nice. I think they have improved. But they need more people serving. Had quite a que and young man had to make milk shakes. Which seem to frazzle him. He was doing his best. No complaints about him.maybe just someone to do coffees and milkshakes.

They have nice food but don’t get your drinks here. I ordered a chai latte today and he PUT COFFEE IN IT!!!! Their baristas don’t even know how to make a basic drink. Then when I tried to explain that chai lattes don’t actually have coffee in it, he just argued with me. Google it mate, or do some basic training. Anyway, I threw it out, never going there again for a drink, which is a shame because I work right next to them.

As a former chef, too much spring onion in bahmi, 2 coriander leafs, soooo much carrot and 2 pieces of cucumber. At over $7 not worth it. Go to the little bakery near palace property agents in karanadowns, cheaper and better. Also spinach and feta triangles poop all over the village bake house ones. Also at the village bake house the juice is not cold pressed (lady didn’t even know what that meant) so juices lack the vitamins and not worth the money either.

I went to this Bakery 6 months ago and was very disappointed in the freshness of their productsI went there again today and nothing has changed so thought this review was justified
