John did an outstanding job on our old pine floors, very efficient, easy to deal with, we are very happy with the result!

John hasn’t even started my job in baxter yet, but so far, have found him very professional, very reliable, and very true to his word!So many other trades do not even bother to return your calls ! John was on time with a quote, reasonably priced and very responsive with calls and messages!I have no doubt that he will do a great job, on time and I will update when the job is complete!Very hard to find good tradesmen these days!Well done John!

Dealing with John was an extremely disappointing experience. His polite and kind attitude quickly changed when i raised several problems with his work. He relies on people's inexperience, hoping they don't go over his work with a critical eye, and moves on to the next client. Multiple assessments made by industry experts could not believe the poor workmanship and the lack of attention to detail. If you do not know what you're looking for, be careful. He promises to return and never does. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE. John's kind and polite attitude is only evident, when things are going his way. Point out some issues, and you'll see a different person. Will never hire him again and will gladly highlight the issues to anyone interested in following up. Scratching on floors (because he rushes),does not blend the edge sanding with the main sanding and leaves approx 300mm different finish on the edges compared to the main floor area. You can see the swirls in the attached pictures. I have multiple photos. I had to get a new floor polisher (one that i now, highly recommend) to re do ALL the floors from the beginning. STAY AWAY FROM MIRAGE ENTERPRISES FLOORING (or whatever they call themselves, as i believe there has been a few name changes along the way - i wonder why????). Don't let the quiet humble talk at the quotation stage mislead you. You'll be very sorry if you use him.

John recently sanded our floor boards. He did a fanastic job and we couldnt be happier. John was professional, very clean and knows his trade truley well. He came to our house on time, was punctual and extremely helpful. I know I can only give 5 stars but if I could I would give him 50 stars. Thank you John your the greatest!

What a rip off!It has been very disappointing experience working with John. We have previously used him on a few occasions. The last straw was the latest job.We asked him for a quote to clean and oil the deck. He told us it was a 2 days job (decks are not big). It was puzzling because looking at the deck size, it would probably take 2 hours to clean. Nevertheless, we trusted him like any decent human would.On the day for deck clean, he appeared at 1030 am and finished at 1130am. That is his day's job! And he charged $300 for cleaning the deck cliaming he needed time to wash his brush and etc.To oil the deck, it was another day's job. He came at 9am and finished at 11am. That is his 2 days job. In total, he spent 4 hours and ripped us off at $800.He became very defensive when we questioned the bill. He said he had to spend 2 hours washing his brushes and clean up at home. And he said, he should spend an hour eating his sandwich and have coffee to justify his bill. Perhaps he should charge me for the water and electricity as well to clean up.All in all, it had been very disappointing. I would advise all to avoid using his services. As he became accquainted with the clients, he ripped them off. There is no long haul business in sight. His perspective is Rip people off while he can".We could only blame it on our oversight. We paid a price for the lesson. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off."

John did a great job resanding and varnishing our tired old timber floors. They came up beautifully and he worked hard long hours for 2 days, not even taking breaks. Also sanded our extensive decking area and fixed many of the rotted boards which was fiddly and time consuming as they don't make boards the same width anymore. Reasonable prices and prompt and reliable. Highly recommend.

John was the best tradesman to work on our renovation. He was extremely fair and honest, reliable and then on the top of it performed a magnificent job. Very hard working and always on time.
