Eling Forest Winery

We stayed in the accomodation for the weekend. The room was quite small and outdated. We were in a queen bedroom, but the space was quite small to put bags around. There is aircon, TV but terrestrial not working - can sign into paid streaming apps Ike netflix etc. No fridge. The bathroom was very small and had no space to put toiletries on. The water in shower also takes forever to heat up. Otherwise the staff were very nice and helpful. Affordable nightly rate. Nice pond outside where geese and ducks hang out.They have a Cafe which has nice overall menu. Can have basic breakfast and nice coffee. Good cheeseboard. Service is ok.They have a small cellar at the back of the cafe, limited selection of wine for tasting but we're quite good, we bought a couple of bottles.Happy to stay here again but might try a bigger room next time. Overall a pleasant experience.

We stayed two nights at Eling forest winery and it was so wonderful. The room was very cute and cozy. We had a delicious cheese platter and tasted some great wines at their cafe. Lady who manages the winery/cafe is so friendly and accommodating but the resident doggy Luca was the star of the show. He is thefriendliest cutest little doggo and we loved giving him loads of cuddles. Definitely worth a visit.

While heading to Goulburn to visit my daughter we always stop for a break at Eling Forest Winery. Coffee and choice of slices are excellent. It is a beautiful place to visit.

I do not recommend this cellar door, we were told not come, but we had to see for ourselves. The wine was terrible; they were selling the 2020 grapes from the bush fire season for $35 a bottle, it tasted like burnt bark. The service was well below par for a southern highlands cellar door with no knowledge from the server, no table water, and no redeemable discount for a $15pp tasting for 4 wines. When we asked for table water, it came out in a big jug with a small fly floating around, no thanks, not coming back!!!

Wish I could have tried everything on the cafe menu, great food, friendly service, cosy atmosphere, fire going. Kids menu and kids book available. Highly recommend

Driven past this place many times without stopping, finally dropped in. The food and coffee was excellent, the staff were lovely and the cafe had a nice feel. The grounds are very appealing and I will be looking into bringing my partner down for a stay. The only possible downside is the cafe is a little expensive which is acceptable if the food is always as good as I experienced.

Dont expect any service here as there is noone at front desk after 5. They do have a caretaker that you can call after hour. The surrounding is really pretty especially early in morning. Room is set up nicely however its not very clean. Spider webs on the light and also some corners of the room. Hair were found in shower and vanity.

Visited quite a few times, the service and food quality is always excellent.It is also a favourite stop for extra smooth coffee and delicious cakes. The Russian Cheesecake and Orange and Almond cake being our favourites.Gluten free is really well catered for.

We had a good time at Eeling. The wine were all so good. We cant help ourselves from having more than we should. We were dancing along with the music (kudos to the DJ). Would recommend going again.
