So dissapointed. Have been here before and the food and service has been magneficent, however our last visit was more than dissapointing. The service was average, the beer was warm and when we questioned about it was simply told it was the last one and came straight from their storage room. Only one or two of our dishes hit the mark from a group of six. The others were flavourless and one seemed to be near frozen. Very dissapointing!!!!

Had the 5 course banquet. The food was amazing, wine pairings were good with the exception of a particular red. Bryce was our waiter and was very helpful with our questions. He even had a crack at making us cocktails that weren't on the menu at our request.Wild oak far exceeded my expectations with great food, wine and service.

Really very disappointing!!!! This place is so tired and dated and is in need of a really good scrub or a complete overhaul! Do not look into the ceiling or ventilation ducts or you may be put off eating here!The food is nothing to write home about - really average fair! Had the MoroccanTagine which is nothing but an average lamb stew at an inflated price! Nothing Moroccan about it at all!The staff are friendly enough but there were only two serving a full house! Three of us ate our entire lunch without being offered a second drink!Too far to drive out of Melbourne for something so very average!

Took my family and a close friend for the first time last Saturday night. Very impressed with food and choice of dishes. Also very accommodating for the kids. Very good wine selection and the spiced rum martini was sensational. Will definitely be back . Also the staff where very friendly and helpful.

I did the three course dinner class and it is excellent. Informal hands on preparation of a three (ended up four) course dinner with tasting wine with each course. This was well worth it and you take away valuable tips and tricks to improve your cooking skills and be able to reproduce an impressive dinner. No experience or special tools required. Ben was superb and Jilly excellent. A great day.Be prepared though, you eat the dinner so don't go after a big breakfast.First class.

Awesome restaurant, not only do i love going to Wild Oak for dinner, I have also attended the Spanish Themed evenings and have completed numerous cooking classes with Ben and the team. I also purchase gift vouchers from Wild Oak they make a great gift and I know who ever I send to Wild Oak will be impressed!!

A great dining experience, especially as we chose this restaurant as celebration for our wedding that evening. Staff and food were excellent. Highly recommend with ease of parking out front.
