Battery World Chatswood

I would highly recommend battery world at Chatswood. Great service with Tim. He explained to me all the battery details and condition. Tim was very knowledgeable and friendly. All sorted in under 10 minutes! Great service!

My mother took her mobility scooter battery here and they were quite helpful in locating a replacement for her at a cost of $529 per battery quipping another business would simply add their cost onto this.From a picture my mum sent me of the battery, I was also able to locate the same battery at a cost of $316.I rang battery world to see if they would price match and did ask if someone was having a lend of her due to the massive price difference and advised where I found at two other comparable priced stores locally.I was accused of using the research of the store to which explained no I had in fact a picture of the battery details which I used and my job is actually finding pricing as a Procurement Manager.They offered to speak with the boss and call me back. I was prepared to offer $350 for convenience of location.I received a call back and was told they would not entertain it. They also made a smart arse comment with attitude that they will thank the owner on my behalf for the research he did.Clearly they had not listened and due to their rudeness is why I write this review and will not deal with them again. It seems point scoring was more important than listening to the customer.As you have not listened again I will further add this: if you were in fact offering a service, why didn't you load test the battery in the first instance and see whether it was in fact defective?Obviously you didn't care and were after the sale. By the way, I find 4 stores offering the same price you say is below RRP. Well good on us for getting basically one battery for free.I would have been happy to agree to disagree however the personal attack was totally unwarranted and unprofessional.Good luck to you sir.

Extremely helpful staff. I was very impressed. The staff quickly replaced the car battery for me while I waited inside.

Just want to give a shout out to Gaz. Absolute legend. Saw me stuck on the side of the road with my hazards on and offered his assistance. Unfortunately it wasn't required due to the issue with the car, but what a legend for stopping and offering help. Thank you so much again Gaz. Should I need any assistance from Battery World, I will most certainly be coming to Chatswood!

Battery World Chatswood replaced my car battery free of charge under warranty when the previous one performed poorly after one and a half years. Great service!

14Apr2023 1645 hoursSteve Steele the owner of Battery World Chatswood is an amazing salt of the earth kinda guy.I wish there were more like him out there.I bought an auxilary battery for me Merc & was ready to cut up the carpet trim to get access for his offsider, without having to rip up the entire boot trim.That's when Steve arrived on the scene.He took one look at the situation & within 15 minutes removed a few screws, pulled the trim back, removed the old faulty battery, installed the new one & put it all back together. No charge.It was magical!Thank you Steve, for helping me out. Had a second battery system installed by Steve and his team a few weeks ago in our 4x4 for an upcoming roadtrip. Team was super helpful and knowledgeable, and made sure to talk us through everything before and after the install. System works fantastic and they even made sure we had enough spares incase of any issues on the road. Highly recommended!
