Exceptional quality umbrellas! Steve took me through all the details of the cantilever umbrellas and recommended the beautiful 3.5m Serenity umbrella for our outdoor area. Could not be more delighted with the outcome of the product and service.

A very unprofessional company.I was quoted a price to replace a damaged outdoor umbrella that was storm damaged. The initial quote was for $2729. After some time ( 8 months) we decided to have it replaced and the company was contacted again for this replacement. We were advised that the cost had increased to $3277 ( an increase of $548).Not long after, I was advised that it was going to cost another $352 to install. Which had ALL been paid for.After inspecting my rental property (once my tenants vacated), I noticed that the old umbrella was left behind in the garden shed for me to dispose of.I contacted the company about this and expressed my disappointment. I let Steve know that after spending almost $3600 with the company, that it was not acceptable to have the damaged goods dumped in my garden shed.His response was then to suggest charging me an additional $125 for a collection and dumping fee.I have found this whole process misleading and lacked transparency.Go elsewhere !Response to comment from Steve:Dear Steve,Thank you for your apology, however there a few things to note;Identifying people by their FULL first and last name on google reviews is a breach of privacy and confidentiality of your clientele. I suggest you remove my name or de-identify, if you do not wish me to action anything further.While we are discussing cost, I am glad you have acknowledged that due to the replacement being an insurance claim, that it justified nearly a 30% increase to your original quote (over 8 months). Last time I checked the CPI had gone up to 7%, not 30%.Your fees were paid as required and I never complained about the cost. However, for the total price, I think it was unacceptable that the damaged goods were not removed at the time, without trying to charge an ADDITIONAL FEE to the consumer once a complaint was received.I did NOT have a problem with the quality of the product. I have an issue with the SERVICE and the collection of the rubbish left behind post installation.It is NOT the responsibility of the tenant or property manager to notify you to remove the rubbish when it was deliberately placed behind a shed door and out of sight for anyone to see. As soon as I located this, ( a week after my tenants left, you were notified).Yes, broken umbrellas are cumbersome and difficult to remove. Try doing it while 37 weeks pregnant. It should have been removed at the time of installation (and for a company the prides themselves in exemplary service, they should NOT have to be told to remove it).If there is a charge, then you need to be transparent about it . From my understanding, when a new product or good is installed (eg oven, stove , fencing), the old rubbish is removed accordingly AND if there is a fee it is always quoted. But I can always look into this further.I am happy to keep posting my reviews online or seek advice from the ACCC for this matter.A simple solution would have been to pick up the umbrella at no cost to the consumer. The $125 you just saved has resulted in a review online that will stay there for a long time.I will not be entertaining this any further.
