I’ve been training at 10th Planet Adelaide for 5+ years under Daniel and I could not recommend it more for anyone looking to start no gi Jiu Jitsu.

Coach Dan understands that not everyone learns the same way, he adapts his coaching style person to person so you get maximum benefit each class and never feel like you are left behind.The gym culture is welcome to all walks of life, we are a mixture of all cultures and backgrounds NO ONE that walks through the doors with the hunger to learn will be turned away.

Daniel's Academy and the 10th Planet system have been the perfect introduction to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, providing a safe and spirited atmosphere to begin a lifelong practice.Daniel teaches the fundamentals in a logical and comprehensive way that anyone can understand and apply, while exposing us to more advanced techniques as our skill level improves. I appreciate that a variety of teaching methods are used; demonstrations, Q&A’s, drillwork and live grappling to name a few, and Daniel makes sure everyone feels included, devoting some time to each student individually. A collection of online resources are also available to members that I’ve been using to progress while outside of the gym.Being able to see this progression in myself and my training partners has been extremely engaging. 10P ADL are a friendly and diverse group who all want to see each other succeed, and celebrate each other’s growth. I can say that I’ve learned something from everyone that I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the mats with.Whether you have only a casual interest in Jiu-Jitsu, or are an experienced martial artist looking to advance their grappling game and compete, I’d encourage you to come along and give it a try!

I've been training under Coach Daniel for 5 years (no previous martial arts experience), and it's been the most enjoyable 5 years of my life.
